Josh was playing in the playground when he found something. It was a Atari game. Josh had an old Atari in his closet. He looked at the name of the game. It was called “The Gaming Ghost”. He had never heard of that game before, so he searched it up online. There was nothing on the game.

Josh put the game into his pocket and went home with his mom. Josh went to his bedroom and locked the door behind him. He found his old Atari in his closet and plugged it in. Then, he turned it on and inserted the game.

The starting screen terrifed Josh. There were flashes of red and Josh heard deep laughter coming from the game. Instead of the typical starting screen, a high-pitched voice started talking. “Come and play my game, IF YOU DARE”

The change from a high-pitched voice to a deep voice startled Josh. Then, the game started. It didn’t look like an Atari game. It looked very realistic. There was a man on the screen with an evil grin. The man’s face was pale like a ghost. There were wrinkles all over his face and his eyes were bloodshot, as if he hadn’t slept in months.′

The man started laughing with the same high-pitched voice that was heard in the starting screen. The man revealed his hands. They were wrinkly and his fingernails were razor-sharp. Suddenly, the man stretched out his hands, and to Josh’s horror, the man’s hands came out of the screen and grabbed Josh by the throat, pulling him inside. Josh screamed an ear-piercing scream, but it was blocked out by the high-pitched laughter of the man.

Lisa was woken up by the sound of tapping on her front door. She looked out the peephole and didn’t see anyone there. Thinking it was someone pulling a prank, Lisa went back to bed. She was drifting off to sleep when again, she heard tapping on her front door. She looked out the peephole and again, there was nobody there. “If it happens again, I’m calling the cops,” Lisa told herself. Then, she went back to bed. Again, she heard knocking on the front door. She grabbed her cell phone and dialed 911. As she was speaking to the operator on the other line, the banging got louder and she heard yelling coming from outside. When the cops came, they found a man outside the house. They immediately recognized the man and arrested him. The man was a serial killer who was a wanted man for months. He had already killed 8 people and Lisa would’ve been his next victim. The man was given life in prison with no chance of parole.

In the year 2019, a meteor crashed into Earth, killing half of the planet. Before this tragic event had happened, us humans had been warned about the meteor. NASA had a spaceship at the time. They could only fit 4 people in the spaceship, so they chose 4 astronauts who were in their early 40s. My great- grandfather, Wilson Banks, was one of the 4 astronauts. He was 42 at the time.When my great-grandfather and his friends left Earth, they were in space for days, and then weeks, until they found an unknown planet. They landed on the planet and looked around. The planet looked a lot like Earth. They discovered that there was a species of aliens in the planet. A family of these aliens invited the astronauts into their house for, suprisingly, regular food that you’d find on Earth, such as cookies and tea. After a few hours of talking to the family and learning about the planet, my great-grandfather declared that it was time to go back to Earth, or what was left of it. When the astronauts landed on the planet, half of it was nothing but ashes and rubble. The astronauts decided to see if their families were okay. First, they went to my great-grandfather’s house. My great-grandfather was happy to see that his wife and children were alright. My grandfather was 15 at the time. Then, they went to everyone else’s house. The astronauts’ families were okay. Today is the 100th anniversary of the day the meteor crashed into Earth.

Oh how I need the sun

There’s a vampire here

This is not at all fun

I hope it’s not near

I’m hiding under my bed

It pulls me out

The vampire’s face is red

I try to shout

Then out comes the sun

The vampire is dead

Lily: (thinking) “I thought Mom and Dad would be home at 10. It’s only 7”

Lily: (thinking) “Oh no! Someone has broken in! I have to hide!”

Mysterious Deep Voice: “Lily, come out, come out, wherever you are.”

Mysterious Man: “There you are!”

Lily: “AAAH!”

Man: “BYE BYE LILY”

Man: “Hey, give me my knife back!”

Lily: “No! You’re done now, boiiii.”

Lily: “Well, that was easy. Here comes the hard part. I have to dispose the body. I guess I’ll throw it in the dumpster outside.”

Lily: “Well, that takes care of that problem. Time to go back to sleep.”

Neighbor Passing By the Dumpster: “OMG! Help! Somebody! Anybody! There’s someone here!”

Neighbor: “NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! AHHH!”
