Does It Fit
It is difficult to help you or give advice if with out more infomation about the original story and your new better idea. I would like to first ask do your original idea and your new idea fit together?
If Yes, then reread your original story and take note of how you would be able to incorporate your new better idea into what you already wrote. You will have found that you have written 50 pages of a rough draft. You will probably end up rewriting serveral pages, and find yourself with a better story. Once you 'get back to where you stopped' you will naturally continue on with your better idea.
If No, then reread your story and ask yourseflf the folloing questions. do you still like it? are you statisfied with what you wrote? If the answer to these are no then still be sure to keep it saved, it is still stuff you worked hard on, and you might find yourself coming back to it later. Essentially, your 'junking' your old story, and will start a new book with your new 'better' idea. If you want to stick with your new idea, and finish a book, then try to think about it in sections. Try keeping one scene in your head at a time (this might prove difficult), and write it to your satifaction. Let your mind drift and flow to the next scence with the end of that one. If you continue like this then pop ups for new 'better' ideas for a completly different book will lower, instead you mind will stick with making continually making improving your scenes.
By using this method you can return to you old idea reread those 50 pages, and improvements for your original will come to you.
Yes, It Matters!
Correct grammar does in fact matter. The impact is very different when correct grammar is used, and when it is not used. The three biggest inappropriate grammar misakes I see are no capitalization, no commas, and probably most import the use of the wrong words and phrases. In the following phargraohs I will discribe each is important.
Capitalization- I recently came across a story where the grammar was perfect execpt, that the writer purposely refused to capitalize,to support their ‘sylitic’ sense. I believe capitalization is important, particularlly in regards to peoples names because it gives them respect, and (at least in my opinion) shows that you see them as a person instead of just an object. You are free write in whatever style you would like, but if you should choose keep everytjing lower case the please, please “Keep in mind, capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse” (anonymous).
Commas- Commas are equvilant to the rest symbol in sheet music. For a musician the rest symbol aloows them to get in a quick breath, and can allow the music to flow much more naturally. Commas do the same thing when reading, They allow the reader to pause so long sentances do not run together, and they can reconize two seprate thoughts that work cohiesively together.
Using the Correct Words and Phrases- Please do not confuse people by using the wrong phasing or words. I read a story where one of the lines was “his own personal sleeve slave”. did you go wait ‘sleeve’ what? did you re read that believe the line should have been ‘his own personal sex slave’. Well you would be right! the word sex should have been in place of sleeve. In right the previous sentance I almost used the word replace instead of ‘been in place of’ I changed it because sex and sleeve are not interchangable, one can’t be replaced by the other. A person should not have to re read your sentances and fix it in thier head so it actually makes sense. It is annoying , time consumming, and you can’t be sure every one will be able to rearange the words to match what you actually mean. It can also mean the difference between the past and the present. For example, I believed is different from I believe- one means I no longer hold that said belief and the othe means I still do. The diffence in impact and meaning is phenominal! Just because a word is spelled right, and microsoft word or grammerly do not pick it up does not mean it is correct.
I do not want read a story where I have to fix every thing in my head. I have read plenty of potentially good stories that I have dropped after the first pharagraph, because I just could not continue re reading every single sentance. I have also read the comments for these stories where the commenters will trash the writer simply for having bad grammar, even if the bad grammar was minimual. There was one such writer who said they would stop writing because if the hatefull comments. When I read thier goodbye it was like I was watching someone with thier heart broken crying thier eyes out. I do not want someone to stop writing because of hatefull comments over thier bad grammar. I do not want writers to have potential readers to skip over thier story in droves because of thier bad grammer. I do not want someone to say oh English is not my first langage so ’Oh Well” as an excuse. I want them to improve thier writting, and continue perhaps try getting a beta reader to help them. All writers deserve to have thier stories properly read reviewed, and given constructive criticism. Good grammar is a big step towards that goal.
A Love Story- The First Part- Unedited
It was 5 years to the day when the Wolf demon Akki Hale (aka Wolfy) fell in love. Wolfy was a drunken play boy until she came along, the only girl that didn’t fall in love with Wolfy when they first met. It was May 21st when they first met Wolfy and his gangs of Wolf demons were walking out of the bar. Two of them were holding Wolfy up. Wolfy looked up in time to see a cutie red headed woman walk pass them. “Hey babe what are you doing out this late at night?”
“It is not a concern for someone so stupidly drunk off his ass.” The woman said barely looking at Wolfy and walked off. Wolfy let go of his gang members and walked surprisingly strait to the pretty lady. The wolf gang was a little surprised Wolfy got turned down even though he was clearly drunk of his ass. But they all just smirked when they watched Wolfy walk towards the Lady he’d get her now that she could properly see his face.
“Come on babe I’m just a concerned citizen what if something bad happens to a cutie like you.” He stated walking slowly behind her. The lady turned around to comment to his face. She didn’t blush when she saw his deep golden eyes, dark skin, black hair and his cute wolf ears.
“It already has I had to see your face, didn’t I?’” The lady smirked and turned back around to walk off
“Excuse me,” Wofy said shocked no girl had ever seen his face and just walked off before. Wolfy shock off the shock and continued “babe I just want to make sure you get home safe”
“A pervert like you doesn’t deserve to see anything of mine besides I know how to get home safe I’m not a lost little girl.”
“You Might defiantly not be little but you’re still a girl”
“Back off perv unless you want to see how I handle things, and a drunk would just get his ass handed to him”
“Oh, you really think you can handle me drunk babe”
“Hmpf don’t provoke me perv, then again a guy like you probably would.”
“A guy like me what’s that supposed to mean?”
“A guy that’ll get it even if he has to force it, honestly I Can’t believe I’m arguing with a stupid drunk.”
“I never have to force.”
“Yeah uh un talks to me when you’re not filthy drunk.” The pretty lady walked off. Wolfy didn’t follow instead he walk back to his boys.
“Tough luck man but there’s always a weirdo out there.” The pale one said clapping him on the back causing Wolfy to lean over he could only handle standing strait up for so long.
“I’ll get that girl to fall for me just like everyone else does” Said Wolfy pissed off
“Oh, so determined come on let’s get you home.” Wolfy’s boys took Wolfy to his house. Wolfy crashed immediately having nightmares about the girl who actually had the nerve to turn him down. Wolfy woke up at 12:35 the next day wondering who the pretty lady that turned him down was. Wolfy was so pissed at her. The only girl to ever turn him down ruined the quote he said to his boys everyday “I can get any girl any time anywhere”. Wolfy called his boys he need them to help him find this girl. Wolfy was only mad because this lady had actually taken a huge whack at his overly inflated ego, and he wanted satisfying revenge. Wolfy got up showered got dressed in his usually black boot, black pants, and black over coat. His boys waiting for him in his living room they all left and split up going around town asking questions about the pretty mystery lady. In two hours they all came back to Wolfy’s house with more or less the same info. She was a half-blooded vampire demon and her name was Kyuu Ketsune. No one knew or cared where she lived. That’s just how Half bloods were treated no one gave a dam.
“It was a fucking Half- blood that turned me down that bitch she should be grateful I even bothered to talk to her”
“Yeah but you only did it because you didn’t know”
“That filthy Half blood won’t get away with this” It was huge whack hit Wolfy’s ego hard.
“Dude it’ll look bad on your reputation if you go after this half-blood.”
“A trifle it’s nothing I can easily handle”
“I Will do the rest of this myself” Wolfy left them. Wolfy for the next 5 hours went looking for Ketsune’s home. He finally found what looked like her home near the beach. It was just as shabby as he thought it would be a pieced together house of leaves and stick a few bricks rocks and other stuff you would find on a beach. Wolfy walked down the beach. He slowly walked alongside the shore passing her house he finally sat down about two hounded feet from her house. Ketsune came back home a few minutes later with some groceries only to be irked by the fact that the creepy Wolf demon was actually there by her house. She went in to her small home and put her groceries away then walked over to Wolfy to tell him to leave. Wolfy had heard her coming and stood up and turned around.
“Hey, you told me to talk to you sober so here I am” Wolfy said brightly. Ketsune was taken back slightly.
“I only said that believing I wouldn’t meet you again, you should go home you might ruin your high and mighty reputation.”
“It not my concern no one cares enough to know where you live, beside I came here to talk.” Wolfy said calmly. He didn’t notice that the words no one cares struck Ketsune.
“There’s a reason no one cares, stop being a jackass and leave I don’t care to talk to some stuck up loser like you.” Ketsune’s word hit Wolfy hard.
“Stuck up loser, excuse me how can you say that.”
“Because that’s what you are, you probably came down here, so you could get me to apologize about not falling in love with you the moment I saw your face you are disgusting pig.” Wolfy was shocked that the half-blood had actually hit close to the target. Wolfy wiped the shock from his face, and smiled darkly.
“Please that would be a waste of my effort but,” Wolfy grabbed Ketsune’s right arm a pulled he towards him and grabbed her chin forcing her to look at him and continued, “I want an apology for all those names you just called me” Ketsune was flushed with anger
“Not one your life you freak.” Ketsune punched Wolfy across the face with her left hand and pulled away from his grip. Ketsune backed up a couple feet then entered fighting stance. Wolfy was a little startled that punch had actually hurt him, but he’d never let the half blood know that.”
“hahahaha You think you can take me on.” Wolfy just stood there looking amusingly at Ketsune.
“Yeah Wolf demons are not exactly known to be the toughest of the bunch.” Ketsune’s words hit Wolfy hard, although it was true in most cases, but Wolfy was 100% not in most cases.
“There’s a reason I lead and not follow in my gang filthy half-blood” Wolfy said also entering a fighting stance. “Ladies first come on come at with whatever you think you got.” Ketsune didn’t hesitate and came at Wolfy with her left fist first. Wolfy dodged it easy only to have to block Ketsune’s right leg. Wolfy winced in pain; no one had ever caused him pain like that on the first blow. Wolfy wondered only for a split second who this half blood was before he grabbed her leg only twisting it slightly before she pulled it out of his grip. Wolfy had to step up his game and for what a half-blood. Wolfy was angry but he knew that there was no time for his emotions to kick in now. Ketsune went after Wolfy again this time Wolfy was ready. Ketsune saw his confidence and used her speed to get behind Wolfy Almost unseen. Wolfy might not have seen the attack but he heard it well enough. He blocked Ketsune’s attack and punched her in the chest sending her flying. Dam that woman got a nice chest Wolfy thought to himself. Ketsune only flew 20 feet before she flipped in the air landing on her feet she bent forward and put her arm to the ground to stop her from staying in a skid and stop due to the speed Wolfy sent her flying. Ketsune stood up returning to her fighting stance Wolfy was a foot from Ketsune the moment she fixed herself. This time Wolfy attacked Ketsune first. Wolfy attacked with his right hand Ketsune didcn’t block but grab it with her left hand a held on tight she also blocked Wolfy’s left leg with her right arm only to feel it start to break. Ketsune swished he right leg upward toward Wolfy’s face only for his to turn toward his right to avoid the kick then he grabbed Ketsune’s left arm and wrenched her off of him and toss her, once again Ketsune landed on her feet. Wolfy’s right hand was almost completely shattered he couldn’t believe what that half-blood had done to him. Ketsune was running toward Wolfy then she used her full demon speed half way to him. Wolfy also kicked in his demon speed. They had a couple of hits at each. Wolfy thought why her speed is a match for mine she’s only half dam it. After 5 minutes of speed whacks at each other both stop and panted.
“This fight is getting us no where” said Ketsune suddenly.
“I Know I’m kind of surprised you’re this strong half blood”
“I have a name you ass, so use it if you’re gonna talk to me, Its Kyuu Ketsune”
“Fine Kyuu Ketsune, But I also Gotta name too. So, you should use it too, it’s Wolfy”
“That’s not your real name it’s just the name given to the top dog out of all of the wolf demon leaders. I am not a part of that group so tell me your real name.”
“Tch Fine its Akki Hale.”
“That wasn’t really that bad, was it? I like it.”
“Hum A girl like you would”
“Excuse me, a girl like me, me being a half-blood has nothing to do with my opinion pi- ah I mean Akki.”
“Why did you call me Akki?”
“You said I Should use it so I did.”
“You made it sound like an insult”
“That’s because I was going to insult you, but your right names are not meant to be insults.”
“Why is it you’re the only girl that has yet to fall in love with my face?”
“Just because, do you really expect me to know why.”
“I guess that could be asking too much.”
“Is your not my type a better answer.”
“Not your type I have never ever heard that before”
“The moment I saw you drunk I knew you weren’t my type I didn’t see your face or body when I saw you, all I saw was a stupid drunk.”
“That’s different what would you have seen if I wasn’t drunk”
“A discussing pig that goes around hitting on women”
“hmmm really?”
“Even I’ve heard your reputation I know better than to just fall for someone cause of their looks Akki, it’s not worth it if the inside is worthless.”
“You determined my inside was worthless all by yourself”
“Your reputation does that for you”
“hahaha I suppose it does”
“But my reputation is not all me you know”
“Oh, Really I’d like to see you prove that”
“I can only do that for you if you’re around to see it.”
“I might be willing if you didn’t drink”
“You actually want me to not drink what you are crazy”
“Oh, tough boy can’t handle it”
“Fine but only when you’re around”
“Promise?”
“Pinky promise”
“What are you 5?”
“Just do it”
“Fine”
“Good um would you like some water?”
“You’re not going to poison it are you?”
“What’s wrong can’t you trust little old me.”
“No not yet”
“I wouldn’t trust me either so you can share mine”
“You sure that’s not going to embarrass you babe?”
“Why would it? And Its Kyuu not babe.”
“You really don’t see me as a guy do you Kyuu”
“No, I see you as a guy I just don’t want you.”
“Are you always so blunt?”
“Yep so get used to it.”
Ketsune walked into her house and brought out a gallon jug of water. Took off the cap and started drinking she gulped down like half of it in one breath before passing it over to Wolfy. Wolfy took a swing off it to but only could take down one fifth of what was left before halving to breath. How did the woman do it he wondered then it hit him she was half vampire sucking down things would be easy for her! ( this is a bad misconception on his part) Wolfy took another long drag of the water then was about to give it back but Ketsune was no longer outside.
He walked over to her house and knock on her shabby door.
“Hey ba-Kyuu you left your water I”
“Don’t come in, you can keep the water Akki just leave.”
“Hey what’s wrong Kyuu?”
“Nothing I just don’t like the moon light.”
“Aren’t Vampires supposed to dislike like sun light.”
“This isn’t a joke Akki please just leave.”
“I’ll come back tomorrow ok.”
“Yeah ok “
Kyuu couldn’t tell Akki that she could barely control her blood thirst at night.
As Wolfy walked back to his place he wondered why Ketsune was crying. Wonder what’s wrong with the night time, why does Kyuu hate it. Wait I’m supposed to hate her why the hell do I give a dam about a half-blood anyway. Wait, why didn’t I add Filthy to that. Gah what’s happening to me 30 minutes alone and I already feel different, it is sickening. Why the hell did I tell her my name, I haven’t use real name in years outside of in my gang. Why?
Wolfy knew why there was something in her deep green eyes something about the way she stared into his. Something about her in general that made him want to truly have her. Of course, Wolfy wasn’t ready to admit it. Wolfy walked back to Ketsune’s house at around 11 o’clock the next morning. He saw her sitting on the beach shore. He walked up to her. She merely bent her head up at him and spoke
“Sorry about last night “
“I don’t get it how are you possibly afraid of the night time I first met you at night.”
“It just the first hours of the night my fear passes later on.”
“That doesn’t make any since. Tell me why?”
“Why do you care?”
“Because I heard you cry and I couldn’t get you off my mind that’s why.”
“I don’t know why the first hours of night affect my blood thirst more in the first couple hours not sure why. I can barely control it. It’s horrible I don’t want to have to feel this way.” Wolfy knew what Ketsune was talking about he felt the same a long time ago every time the full moon came out. He still felt that way but he gained control. He knew Ketsune had more control then she thought otherwise why she would come outside at night at all.
“Why did you go out that night?”
“I like the night time I like to walk around when it’s safer”
“That’s unexpected”
“Yeah I guess”
“It might sound weird but it sounds like you’re affected by the rising of the moon”
“Why would you say that?”
“Because the moon rises on this side of the beach its light will hit over on here for a longer period of time.”
“I never noticed that before, but I suppose it would make since the moon light signifies night time and vampire demons are known to be more active at night, I’ve also felt stronger when sundown hits”
“Would you like to prove this theory with me?”
“Yeah I suppose having you around won’t be that bad.”
“That bad? You still feel that way”
“Yeah”
“I’ll be back before sun down ok”
“I’m not going anywhere”
Ketsune watched Wolfy go. She felt happy that he actually cared and found herself unable to actually wait for tonight. Wait was she actually excited for that pervert what in the world would cause her to feel that way about a guy like that and he was a pure-blood at that. Wolfy left Ketsune he felt weird why was he doing this for a half-breed, but a promise is a promise. Wolfy left he decided to grab his boys at start drinking he felt he needed it. One whole day without alcohol must have been getting to him. What Wolfy or Ketsune didn’t know was that it was love at first sight nothing could ever change that. Wolfy came to Ketsune’s house at around 8 o’clock stumbling the whole way there. Ketsune was angry she thought he would help her with her problem instead she was going to get stuck with a drunk to watch over.
“What’s wrong with you how could you get drunk on me you pig?”
“Hey, I needed to get some alcohol inside of me if I’m going to help you out babe.”
“Excuse me, firstly you’re the one that offered, secondly if you didn’t want to be around a half-blood then you shouldn’t have offered, third go home I can’t tolerate being around a drunk especially not one that looks like he’s going to pass out soon.”
“Hey I asked because I care, we don’t need some half-blood running around causing harm, then we’d probably have a body to clean-up and no one wants half-blood cooties, I’m going to help you out with your problem babe drunk or not.”
“I can handle myself I’m not going to die, I can also handle my problem myself, and if no one wants half-blood cooties then why did you come here in the first place.”
“Because I wanted to make you fall in love with me then I wanted to ditch you heartbroken.”
“I knew I put my hopes in the wrong person, I knew I shouldn’t have trusted someone like you, go home and stay there and don’t come back Akki.”
Hearing his name snapped Wolfy’s mind back to normal. But it was too late he had already hurt Ketsune, and she was already back in her house. Wolfy pounded on her door trying to apologize, Ketsune wouldn’t listen she just sat on her floor crying. Finally, Wolfy sat at her door he could hear her tears he was mad at himself he didn’t want to hurt Ketsune. Wolfy spoke aloud at her door he knew she could hear him.
“Kyuu I’m sorry, after we started talking my motives changed a little I started to care. Then I started to care more when you told me about how you feel when night comes. I really do want to help you out I went through the same thing before, and your right I shouldn’t have gotten drunk not for something this important.”
“How am I supposed to trust that, why do you care?”
“I don’t know why I care I can’t tell you there’s just something about you that makes me care, as for trusting me you could promise you that I’ll never drink when I promise to see you.”
“Humph Like you have self control. I’ll believe it when I see it.”
“I DO, you’ll see.” With that Wolfy finally feel asleep. Ketsune heard Wolfy fall asleep. Why does he say those things that make me feel like I should care for him? How could he do this to me? Ketsune knew she should take him home but it would have to wait until the moon closer to shining over the other side of the island. Unfortunately, she couldn’t wait until morning otherwise the islanders would give both of them hell. Ketsune picked up Wolfy about two in the morning and carried him to his house, everyone knew where he lived, and his door was left carelessly unlocked. Ketsune walked in with Wolfy on her back. To see his gang members sprawled on the floor waiting for their leader to come back and tell them of his conquering. Ketsune carefully stepped through them and placed Wolfy on his bed. Ketsune almost made it back to the door when someone spoke.
“Don’t get cocky your still just a filthy half –blood.”
“Cocky I only did something any decent person would.”
“A decent person huh? You did something most people wouldn’t have most people would have left him to sleep where he lied. Only friends and people that really care about someone do that. So how much do you care?”
“I suppose you could ask him the same question, have a good night.” with that Ketsune left.
Wolfy woke up the next morning wondering how he got in his bed. Then he remembered he was at Ketsune’s she must have brought him home unless of course he dreamt the promise he made to her. He thought it better to ask his comrades. Wolfy walked out of his room to see his comrades sleeping on his living room floor. Only one was awake.
“Hey, Ambrose how did I get home last night?”
“That half-breed brought you back, never thought I would see the day when a lady would carry you home.”
“Please don’t call her a half-breed; your right I never thought it would happen myself.”
“Don’t call her a half-breed.”
“What’s gotten into you?”
“I don’t know I just.”
“You just what don’t tell me you’re actually falling for a half-breed?”
“I just told you not to use the word half-breed got it, and I not falling for anyone.”
“Was that actually an order coming from your mouth?”
“Yeah it was what are you going to do about it?”
“I never thought I would hear you giving orders that’s all”
“Yeah right if you would like to bare your fangs at me for this why don’t you try it.”
“I might if this passing fancy of yours goes on much longer.”
“Excuse me, if you got a complaint about what I’m doing then get it out now or get out of my house.”
“Wolfy we all have a problem with what you doing none of us like the fact that your actually associating with that girl it’s not just your reputation that could get ruined demons will come after us believing that we’re no weaker than half-bloods, I don’t want to go back to the bottom of the food chain because of this girl. Please just quickly get this over with.”
“Yeah I get it. This will end soon ok you guys got nothing to worry about.”
“Hey as long you get it, let’s go drinking tonight.”
“Tempting offer but to finish this up I’m going to be with her tonight ok. I promise I’ll get back with my boys soon”
“Yeah alright, I suppose I can believe that for the moment.”
“I guess it sound like I’d rather be with her then you guys right!”
“Yeah it kind of does.”
Wolfy decided it would be a good idea to train with his gang to pass the time before seeing Ketsune. It was a good choice too because they hadn’t trained together in a few months and they looked out of shape. Wolfy normally trained about a hour every day alone so he could stay the leader of the gang. Training with his boys was the second hardest thing he had to do next to that fight he had with Ketsune. Fighting his boys even if it was just training made him realize that he didn’t really fight her with his strength at all he had held back a lot. He might have held back his strength but he didn’t hold back using his speed why was a half blood capable of keeping up with a full-bloods speed. Was it because she was half vampire demon?
Wolfy’s question swirled through his head none stop. It wouldn’t leave him alone; it was like an itch he could get rid of. Wolfy walked over to Kyuu’s house around 7:30. She was sitting at the beach side again.
“I’ve seen this somewhere before”
“I thought I’d get a good look at the night sky from here this time”
“You’ve never sat over here even when it was safe?”
“I’ve never seen the sun go down.”
“Oh, do you mind if I sit next to you and watch with you?”
“Fine but don’t let your guard down.”
“I won’t”
The two of them watched the sun go down, it was beautiful Ketsune had never seen anything like it her entire life. Then the moon could be seen as clear as day Ketsune started squeezing her arms her breathing got heavier. Wolfy watched her carefully he remembered the feeling of having no control. Then suddenly Ketsune calmed down and looked at Wolfy devilishly and spoke
“You’ll be good enough I suppose I’d like something 5 times better though.”
“If I’m not that great why have me at all?”
“Because I can’t hold back.”
Then Ketsune used her speed to get behind Wolfy so she could suck his blood, but he was ready for that trick and grabbed both of her arms and pinned her to the ground.
“You know you don’t really want to do this, you want to have control don’t you.”
“Don’t act like you know me what I want is blood and I’m going to start with yours.”
“Nice try but you can’t beat me”
“You sure about that?” Just after Ketsune finished the sentence she wrenched her arms from Wolfy and punched him in the stomach. Wolfy gasped for breath and she used the opportunity to grab bed him and pin him to the ground.
“I know your better than this Kyuu You have to take control.”
“I don’t want to I like it this way I want blood (she is talking about killing not sucking blood) and I’m going to get it”
“No, you’re not Sorry but I’m stronger” Wolfy repeated what Ketsune did earlier this time when he pinned her down he put all of his strength behind it. Ketsune couldn’t struggle out of his grip.
“Kyuu listen to me do you want to go through this day after day If you take control of your own mind you won’t have to live in fear.”
“Ha what would you know, I have to live in fear everyday it doesn’t matter where I go a half-blood is never welcome there always attacked there always being hunted down.”
“What you weren’t here, you live here don’t you no one has ever mention you before they leave you alone.”
“They don’t hunt me here because you’re here you make people forget there’s even a half-blood living here, but I’m still alone, and beside I want to drink their blood that what they deserve for thinking of half-bloods that way.” (‘vampire’ demons in my story don’t suck blood it’s a misconception, a bad joke, it’s more like she wants to kill them in a way that drains there life)
“I might not know a lot about you Kyuu, but I know you want control of your life and your actions, I know your lying when you say you want to suck their blood it’s a lie. You should do it because you want to not because the night time makes you furiously blood thirsty. I have felt that way before I gain control of my mind It feels good to have control Kyuu believe me. Trust me.”
“Trust a Full- blood not going to happen”
“You haven’t said it yet”
“Said what?”
“My name.”
“So, what”
“So, I want you to say it”
“Not going to happen, I might not be able to get free but I can still do this” Ketsune pushed up herself up pushing Wolfy back with his arms.
“Say it, say my name.”
“Never all I’m going to is drink your blood”
“Say my name Kyuu”
“Shut up”
“Kyuu please”
“Akki”
“say it again “
“Akki”
“Why are you crying?”
“Because for the first time my mind is perfectly clear ant this time of night because of you”
“You’re welcome”
“Will you let go of my wrist now?” Ketsune asked turning her face away from his. Wolfy smirked.
“Not yet.” Wolfy leaned in and kissed Kyuu. She kissed him back. Only a few moments passed before she slipped from his loosened grip and pushed him away and got out from under him. She only got a few feet away before he grabbed her arm and pulled her to him.

I think my story would be a good fit because I'm taking certain cliches and making changes to them.
Synopsis: this in the middle of the novel but the short story can stand on its own, after a fight He is sitting alone thinking about when they met, and fell in love, and finally decided to be together, where they are inducted into the spy job they have now, then the story flashes back to the present.
