A look of Death...
A young woman and lad were in a old attic, spiderwebs and dust bunnies galore as the sat down by a window and read; it was the only spot that was clean. The books were sweet and filled with action. Suddenly, a creaking noise came from the entrance of the attic. The door was opened and they both looked out; what could have opened it? They were both alone in the house. The lad then volunteered to go downstairs first. She was very surprised. The lad disappeared down the stairs quickly. Silence was roaring in the girls ears as she waited for the lad to come back. Suddenly, the lad was yelling for the girl to come to him. "Alice, Alice, come quick!" the lad cried. As quick as whip Alice ran to the lads aid, the boy in the old houses kitchen. "What is it Jace?" Alice asked, looking around the room quickly, looking for any trace of life; her eyes did not find life, but death.
A body was chained to a kitchen wall, hanging lifeless as blood dropped from its arms, chest and legs; from the looks of it, the bodies heart was ripped out. They both quickly went to find out more, more on what had killed the person, a teen. Alice looked closely at the cuts; from the looks of it, the cuts were caused by claws: but from what animal? A door slammed shut: they both whirled to the noise, hearts beating 100 to nothing.
"I see I have attracted two new bodies... Fresh blood to drink, to bathe in..." a voice creaked. With horror, both people turned to the body, its head raised, its dead eyes looking at them gleefully. Instantly both Alice and Jace backed away from the zombie. Taking out there weapons, they held them out in front of themselves in a stance they learned from there masters. "They wont be of any use... Riktes!" the body cried; there weapons flew from there hands. "no mortal weapon can harm me!" cried the body before raising from the floor, its chains broken into dust; some magic must have destroyed them. "RUN!!" Alice yelled.
Both ran to the front door, only for it to slam shut; they tried to open it, but it was sealed. "This way!" Jace yelled, running to the living room. Alice caught onto his plan. They both hid behind the bookshelves that lined the walls, just barely fitting into place. "Where are you my little ones? Come give me your life and I will make Death pleasent!" the voice yelled as the body walked into the living room slowly. Both Jace and Alice raised there arms as the body neared them.
When the body was buried under the book shelves that they pushed, both ran to the attic; they knew where one other weapon was, there only hope. As soon as Alice had it in her hands, the zombie burst into the room, glaring at Alice as she held the weapon in front of her.Alice hit the body with the weapon as it came past, the blade cutting a nice score into the body, but it was Alice that cried out in pain; she was bleeding! Yanking the blade out of the zombie with one hand, Alice looked at the weapon, remembering what there master said about the curse. dropping the weapon. She slowly picked up the item, it all made sense then.
"Die!" Alice yelled as she stabbed herself with the sword in the chest: the body cried out before fading into dust.
"Wake up Alice!" Jace cried.
Apology
I am sorry.
I know I hurt you, I know I made you cry,
I know you love me, but I never returned the words…
I love you.
You will be my friend,
Now till the very end,
I promise you,
I will be with you.
I swear to you,
The days we didn’t play,
The days I missed to see you take the stage,
The days I didn’t go,
I feel bad,
Knowing I can’t go back,
No matter how much I want,
I never can,
But I swear to you,
Ill protect you,
No matter what it is,
Ill be with you,
Now till the very end,
I love you,
My baby bro,
Ben.
What A relationship is.
Heart felt words,
Given out like junk,
Words meant for truth,
Life fused with love,
Promises to keep,
All thrown away like trash.
A promise given is a promise kept,
Build trust among friends,
Show love through ones flaws,
See through to the very end,
Now that is a promise.
A heart is a treasured piece,
Love given in its purest form,
Declaration to start a deep bond,
Vow to be true,
Held onto with care and security.
A bond ship to connect,
Share a life with the one you love,
A smile on a stormy day,
A warm embrace on a snowy night,
Support when you fall.
A single word to open a heart,
A smile to bestow life,
Together forever,
Now and then,
Later and for infinity after.
This is a relationship to me.
Fragile People
Like fine china,
Like glass windows,
Like a heart;
We all break.
A word pushes us off our shelves,
causing us to fall before breaking,
shattered and irreparable forever more,
Staying at a dark life.
My heart has been broken,
one times too many,
shattered beyond like broken glass,
my heart stops.
Love has gone away, away, away.
Life Changes.
My life had gone through many changes, all from Katrina's rain and winds. The back yard covered with tree limbs and other trash, all we had to clear out in the days after. In the house our roof had many leaks all over the house, all being caught in pots, the drops creating a simple but sad melody, one that speaks for all the other houses effected by the storm. Our house had no power for the next week or two, the heat inside was like that of a too-close fire, creating discomfort for my siblings and parents as we stayed inside. All of my family played games, all in the hopes to pass the time quicker. When most of the damage had been cleared, my family moved over to our current house, a much safer home.
