AURIFY
In fields of gold where sunsets dance,
Aurify hues in a divine trance.
Balmily breeze whispers through the air,
As nature's symphony begins to prepare.
Caterwaul echoes in the twilight hour,
A melody sung with ancient power.
Amidst the trees, their branches sway,
To the rhythm of night and day.
Diaphanous clouds float overhead,
Like wisps of dreams in a sky so spread.
Stars twinkle, a celestial ballet,
Guiding wanderers on their way.
Through valleys deep and mountains tall,
Nature weaves her enchanting thrall.
Each element a thread in her grand design,
A masterpiece where beauty aligns.
So let us wander, hand in hand,
Through landscapes vast, across the land.
Where aurify dreams and balmily sighs,
Create a world where hearts arise.
Loneliness
In shadows deep, where silence reigns,
Loneliness prowls, its grip sustains.
A solitary figure, lost in the night,
Longing for companionship, craving light.
Through empty streets and vacant halls,
Echoes of solitude, the heart recalls.
Each footstep falls in haunting rhyme,
A melody of loneliness, a rhythm of time.
In the vast expanse of starlit skies,
A solitary soul lifts weary eyes.
Seeking solace in the distant gleam,
Yearning for connection, a shattered dream.
Alone in crowds, amidst the throng,
Isolation whispers, a siren's song.
A solitary heart, in a world so vast,
Longs for understanding, to break the cast.
In quiet corners, where shadows dwell,
Loneliness weaves its somber spell.
A tapestry of longing, woven tight,
A solitary soul yearning for respite.
But in the depths of solitude's embrace,
There lies a glimmer, a saving grace.
For even in loneliness, there is strength,
A resilience born of trials' length.
So let the stars above, in their silent glow,
Illuminate the path, where loneliness may go.
For in the depths of darkness, a flicker ignites,
A beacon of hope, through the endless nights.
And though the journey may be long and steep,
Loneliness need not forever keep.
For in the shared embrace of hearts entwined,
Solitude fades, leaving love enshrined.
Realms
In realms arcane where secrets sleep,
And mysteries in shadows creep,
There lies a land of whispered lore,
Where sylphlike spirits dance and soar.
Beneath the moon's enchanting glow,
In forests deep where breezes blow,
The esoteric knowledge gleams,
In ancient texts and hidden streams.
A vivacious soul with eyes aglow,
Treads paths where only few dare go,
Her heart is a flame, her spirit free,
She seeks the truth, the mystery.
With nimble fingers and a curious mind,
She seeks the truths she longs to find,
Through pages old and parchment thin,
She seeks the wisdom held within.
In Twilight's hush, she finds her way,
Through labyrinthine nights and day,
Her quest for knowledge never tires,
Her spirit was fueled by hidden fires.
In every word, a magic spell,
In every line, a tale to tell,
She drinks deep from the font of lore,
And finds herself forevermore.
For in the arcane depths, she roams,
She finds the secrets of unknown,
And though the journey may be long,
Her spirit sings a vibrant song.
Words
In a realm of words, where thoughts do dwell.
Where fastidious minds their thoughts do mold,
And within their words, mysteries unfold.
In the fields of thought, where dreams do roam,
Creativity dances, free to comb.
Where playful thoughts gamboled in the night,
Under the stars, shining bright with light.
Maundering minds, lost in their maze,
Wandering through the nebulous haze.
Seeking clarity in the depths of thought,
Where ideas and visions intertwine, caught.
Through winding paths of imagination's bower,
Words bloom like flowers in springtime's hour.
Each line a thread in the fabric of creation,
Woven with care, with meticulous dedication.
So let the ink flow, let the words soar,
In the vast expanse of the mind's grand store.
For in this dance of thought and word,
Lies the beauty of a world, yet to be heard.
Shadows
In Elysian fields where dreams unfold,
Beneath the diaphanous veil of gold,
There wanders souls, both young and old,
In search of tales yet to be told.
Through meadows green and skies so blue,
Where time itself seems born anew,
They dance and sing, their spirits true,
In realms where fantasies pursue.
Yet midst this bliss, a figure gaunt,
With hollow eyes and voice that taunt,
Seeks to weave a sinister haunt,
And into paradise, he seeks to flaunt.
With words like honey, he does inveigle,
His aims obscure, his motives wriggle,
To disrupt the peace, to stir and jiggle,
This haven's calm, his intentions giggle.
But steadfast stands the Elysian guard,
Against the darkness, they stand unscarred,
With light and love, their virtues marred,
They shield this realm, forever starred.
So let the diaphanous curtains sway,
In Elysian realms where dreams hold sway,
For though the shadows may inveigle and prey,
Light and love shall guide our way.
Amort
In realms where dreams and shadows meld,
Where whispers dance and secrets dwell,
There lies a tale, a story to be told,
Of journeys taken, of hearts grown bold.
In lands of Amort, where time stands still,
And memories fade, yet linger still,
The Burdly burden on weary backs,
We trudge along the winding tracks.
Through Desultory paths, we roam,
Lost in thoughts, far from home,
With each step, a wandering soul,
Seeking purpose, seeking a goal.
Yet, in the midst of this aimless chase,
A glimmer of light, a fleeting grace,
The Fatuous folly of our plight,
Guiding us through the darkest night.
For folly leads where reason fears to tread,
And in its madness, truths are spread,
So let us embrace the foolish ways,
And find wisdom in the midst of haze.
In the tapestry of life, woven with care,
Amort threads of joy and despair,
Burdly burdens we carry with pride,
Desultory paths where fate may reside.
In the end, when all is said and done,
We'll look back at the journey we've begun,
With laughter and tears, we'll reminisce,
On the fatuous folly that led to bliss.
You’re not alone
I try and tell myself,
"You're not alone,"
yet when I get in bed at night
my sadness envelopes me
rather than my blanket.
My head is propped up by a
monster of thoughts
by the weight in my chest
it feels my mattress is lying on
top of me rather than the latter
And all I know is through this confusion is when I sit up
look around, and the only person there is me, and the only person who understands is me! and, gosh, am I alone.
Happy Birthday to me
In the dance of life, at forty-six I stand,
Between the shores of past and future's land.
Each year, a chapter, a tale to be told,
Of triumphs, trials, and dreams yet to unfold.
At forty-six, the wisdom grows deep,
Like roots that anchor, secrets I keep.
With each passing day, a journey unfolds,
New adventures beckon, stories untold.
The mirror reflects the years gone by,
Lines etched with laughter, tears that fly.
But in the heart, a fire still burns bright,
With passion and purpose, a guiding light.
Forty-six, a milestone to embrace,
With grace and courage, I find my place.
In the tapestry of life, I weave my thread,
With dreams to chase and fears to shed.
So here's to forty-six, a year anew,
With gratitude for all I've been through.
May joy and love be my guiding star,
As my journey onward, wherever I am.
My dog, My best friend
In every stride, my dog, a loyal friend by my side,
Through valleys low and mountains wide and high.
With eyes that gleam, a heart so true,
My faithful companion, forever anew.
In the fields of green, we chase the day,
With laughter echoing, as we play.
Through trials faced, in life's great race,
Your unwavering love, a saving grace.
Through storms, we weather, hand in paw,
In the darkest nights, you are my awe.
No judgment cast, no words to speak,
Yet your presence is strong, never weak.
In quiet moments, you sense my soul,
In your embrace, I find my role.
With every wag, a tail to tell,
Of friendship pure, that rings a bell.
Man's best friend, in you I find,
A bond unbroken, one of a kind.
Through thick and thin, till the end,
Forever cherished, my loyal friend.
