Querencia is going to be opening submissions for our unthemed Spring anthology soon, and I wanted to give Prosers the first chance to send me some work again. We accept poetry, fiction, cnf, & hybrid works. I will repost and like all entries. If you work is a good fit for Querencia, I will leave you a comment, so we can follow up with publishing info. I love work that centers on mental health, trauma examinations, feminism, BIPOC & lgbtqia+ experiences and rights, surrealism, and horror - but I'm willing to accept writing on any topic. Querencia Press is looking for pieces to fill out our unthemed anthologies in 2023. Give me your best work, any genre, and I will pick the pieces that fit best with the current submissions

Make a list poem, whatever structure you’d like. Bullets, numbered, lettered, use conjunctions, whatever - tag me so I can share them!

Write a piece about knots. Any kind of knot. Does not have to be fiction, but the challenges seem to be more visible when a portal is added. I have written an example, though I will obviously not be picking myself as the winner.

Take one of my pieces (your favorite, one you think you could do better, one that would be interesting in your own voice, pick one at random, i don't care) and make it your own! I am really excited to see what you all do with my words. I will be reposting everyone who enters, and I will choose the winner. Much love <3

Creative licensing is encouraged. Real first kisses, imagined, types of first kisses, first kisses with certain people, kisses that always feel like the first.

Use water as your driving metaphor, simile, force - just no literal waves I’ll be reproving and reading all entries. So. No prize, but all of my followers will see your pieces, so sharing the love <3

Write a poem in a language you know aside from English and then translate it back into English.

I’ve noticed a lot of arguing here recently, so my goal here is to help bring everyone back together. Which means you should keep in mind that arguing in the comments will disqualify you.
