Our World War Begins Today
One 8 year old on a balcony
Of an orphanage home to many
The year was 1941
The bombing had just begun
But Audrie did not run away
For our World War begins today
She stared down at the playing kids
Then sister came barging in
"She pulled the plug on the jukebox"
For what happened next was not a shock
"Pearl Harbor was bombed" said sister
But no one would talk or even stir
Pearl Harbor was unknown that Sunday
But our World War began that day
A little while later
A film they would wait for
"Every Wednesday we would have a movie"
A Disney film they would see
But before the flick was put on
They would sing a certain type of song
"Let's remember Pearl Harbor" they would sing
And the children were such darlings
That they didn't know what Pearl Harbor was
But they knew their lives were a gift from above
For in the war days one had to pray
As our World War begins today
And now dear reader you must know
That there is much time to grow
Please cherish all your memories
As you may go down in history
But you might not have much time
For our life on earth is a short little line
And their World War went down that day
But the third war begins today
Disneyland
A magical place
When you enter you're excited
When you leave your sad
So many rides to choose
Which one?
All of them!
Once a year for some
Decades for others
Counting off every day
Until your trip arrives
Seeing all the people
All the excitement
All the laughter
Everybody must see
This magical place
Created by a good man
Who did a bad thing
That made him fall
And even though he's gone
He will always live in this magical place
Of wonders
And happiness
And joy
And you'll always remember this place
Until you fall as well
Make Anything
Can it be in everyone? Yes.
Racing through your body it goes
Even though some people have more than others,
A growth mindset will fix that
The ideas you can have,
If this feeling bursts out of you,
Varies from what is in your heart
If you let it lead you,
This is a great thing,
You can make anything
Creature
There is an animal out there
Who’s never loving anywhere
This animal is quite a witch
To anyone who likes to snitch
About his fears or secrets too
Or that he is mostly always blue
Some secrets are his memories
Or his many accessories.
He likes to wear jewels and rings
And think about happy things
Even though he is vile
He is a crocodile.
