I find freedom in expressing my convictions through the written word.
Challenge
This is a form of writing called a triptych. It consists of 3 syllables per line, 3 lines per stanza and 6 or 9 stanzas per poem. Any subject. When I was younger I once read
“Some people are artists.
Some, themselves, are art.”
And I always hoped I was the second one.
But far from the truth
It is the other way around.
It lives within me, it runs in my blood.
I am indeed an artist
And thatʼs why you got me screwed.
You, that you're art, have me,
Your same old blue eyes,
Your same old blond hair,
Your same only self.
Because you never fail to inspire me
Over and over… And over again.
For in beauty, in nature, in life, I find you.
And in you I find beauty, nature… mostly life.
My downfall:
With you, near you, because of you,
I know I'm ruined!
Excitement, nervousness, marvellous
… Distraught
All you make me feel without even a touch
Just how art does to the world.
