Hide and Seek
I once had a friend that danced with me among the sun's golden rays. She loved to disappear when the stars came out to play in their corners.
I sought her, but she hid among the manipulated shades of shadows; vanishing.
Everyday was a new search to find her in a star's corner, a mind's crevice, a shrouded secret.
She, my shadow, hid from me.
Whom is trustworthy, if not your own shadow?
Feelings You Gave Me
Uncertainty. Doubt. Lost Passion. Old Memories. New Wounds.
A single wave crashing upon the cliff's side, repeatedly. No effect.
A cloud with no power to push back against the wind, weak. Always wandering.
A clue never discovered within a Holmes case, lonesome. Unheard of.
No one knows how it feels with your smile in place, masked. Hiding away.
Thoughts bounce around untamed and reek havoc upon your mind, destroying you.
Vanish the old memories and wounds.
Please, no more. Leave me alone.
Like she did.
