Rusty metal laying like scraps of paper on the old sidewalks. No one talking to each other, only to the screens. Hello...I am Metalina. Weird name, I know. I live in 2045. From the future of course. These screens aren't only screens though. They are everything. Zagon Aphrodite, or known as ZA the Great, made almost everything a screen. Why? Well he thought we can escape the rusty earth and live IN the screen.

I am 17 and my parents died a year ago. They got trapped in the screen and never came out which has only happened to them. I hated screens ever since but use it just like everyone else.

I snapped on the sunglasses and stepped on the pad. I said my password, "Screen ZA Girl" which isn't that original and the same tugging sensation brought me in.

I spawned in the spawning area just like all the others. My screen character had long, wavy purple, pink, and blue hair with a shiny outfit and sky blue skin.

"Hey Zayna!" Lila10 called from her spawning place. Lila10 was my best friend whom I never met. My name is Zayna001.

She was the biggest Harry Potter fan and her screen character was Fleur Delacour,

"Hey Lila!" I said running toward her, "I think I figured out the maze!" The maze was this challenge in The Impossible Tower and the winner gets millions of dollars. It was created in 2040 and no one has beat it yet. The maze was level 2 of the 20 level tower.

"Well let's go then!" Lila said very happily. She pinched the air with her two fingers and a screen came up. She pushed Teleport and then clicked through all the locations then punched the one that said The Impossible Tower. I did the same and met her there.

The spawn area was packed with people. Many falling from the air in much rage.

"I made some gold. I hope we make it" I said. Lila nodded. Her waist-length silvery blonde hair swishing as we walked to the starting area. It had many signs saying stuff like "VERY

HARD" "Rage for sure" "BE CAREFUL" and "Big chance you might DIE"

The same computer voice spoke as they were going to let us in. "Oh. Zayna001 and Lila10. You are back. Well play at your own risk." The bars split apart and we walked through. The

computer voice faded as we walked on and more people came in.

Level 1 is pretty easy. It is this riddle one but we played so many times that I know every riddle and the answer. Next came level 2. We went the same way we always do then came to a halt.

"Ok. I think we go left one and right twice then should go straight. Then....left once then right and then left twice. Come on." I said trying to memorize it.

We ran and ran turning left and right. At last, panting, we got to our last left. We turned left and the beginning of level 3 was visible.

"WE DID IT!" Lila said and high-fived me. With my gloves on from behind the screen can allow people to be able to interact with others.

A message popped up in front of both of us saying DRINK WATER. We said goodbye and I removed the earrings and so did she then the tugging sensation brought me back to my room.

The cold water trickled down my throat. I immediately put the glasses back on and joined the spawning area.

I waited and waited for Lila10 to return. I chatted her, called her, and voice messaged her. She never showed.

After hours I saw her! But...she was with what looked like a screen character of Hermione. The username was BushyBrownHair1980. Anger fumed inside of me. Envy, anger, fury, JEALOUSY filled my insides.

I punched the Teleport button and pushed WHO IS THAT?. It was an area that can tell people about others. The building was pretty small and some people moved in and out.

I entered and was the only one.

"User?" a sweet voice said.

"Zayna001" I told her.

"Why are you here today? To see another user? Or to search up a user?" she asked. I nodded to the last one so she brought me to a book. "Flip to find the user, once found tell me." she glided away and returned to her position.

The book was big and had many pages, I flipped to the B section then to the Bu section.

I went from page to page and scanned each one until I found BushyBrownHair1980. I was delighted and announced to the robot thing, "BushyBrownHair1980!"

She nodded and her stomach glowed and then information popped up. I read and it said:

BushyBrownHair1980 is a player who uses The Screen very often. She has made it to level 3 in the Impossible Tower. She is friend with only two players: Lila10, her sister, and AshFire.

I stopped reading at once. HOW COME SHE NEVER TOLD ME! I continued reading..

She is also known for being a streamer known as HermioneScreenStreamer.

Again I stopped reading. She was my FAV Screen Streamer.

I then pressed Teleport and Spawning area and left.

Luckily, BushyBrownHair1980 and Lila10 were still there.

"LILA! YOU ARE SISTERS WITH HER!" I shouted to her in delight as I ran towards her.

"How did you know that?" Lila said, her face red.

"Umm....uhhhhh" stuttered BushyBrownHair1980. "Well you can call me Hermione if you'll like."

"I watch ALL your streams!" I said smiling.

"Aww a fan! Well I heard that you an my sister are bff. I was thinking we could try the 3rd level in The Impossible Tower together!"

I nodded and smiled and Lila looked relieved and happy. We clicked the Teleport and The Impossible Tower buttons and left in delight.
