Hi friend!
It's been quite a long time since I've seen you around town. I guess that's because you moved down the road to a small plot. The gas station switched over to them fancy automated gas pumps that take your debit card right there, and the diner closed down after that restaurant chain got built next to the highway. Oh, and Heather finally moved to the big city, I know that wasn't a surprise after you left, but she said it's for the better and asked me to stop by on her behalf. When I talked to her last on the phone, she seemed like she misses you a lot, even after all this time. Hell, I miss you like crazy, but I guess you figured as much, since we were like two peas in a pod since grade school. They still haven't cut down that tree in front of the corner store. Well, the farm has been doing pretty well since we switched from corn to cattle. We've got a lot of business with the next town over. We all miss you a whole bunch, so maybe we'll come by and visit soon and bring you some flowers.
Hi friend!
Long time no talk. Hopefully this letter reaches you well. I wanted to write you to see how you are and if you're okay. See how you are... Scary that we haven't talked in so long. I remember a time when I couldn't even think without talking to you. I'm almost... Almost glad that it changed. Though I wished it changed for a different reason.
I remember how we use to laugh in the summer and cuddle up in the freezing winters. I remember how when depression would come trying to destroy one of us and the other had to bar all the doors.
Funny how the summer air doesn't smell the same without you here. How no matter how I try and pretend my world is the same it just isn't without you here. You really feel a lot closer then you are these days. But it's okay I don't blame you for leaving.... I can't blame you for leaving m'dear.
If I was in the car that night, maybe If things had gone differently maybe you would be here. But things went the way they went. So here I am with a ballon and a letter.
