the compromise leaves you in disgust,
a bit of pink, some yellow thrown in, to contrast with the background which is mostly brown.
there is no color like it,
not because it can’t be seen,
but because it rankles,
burns the retina.
but it was a take it or leave it moment,
and no one cares, about color choices,
when you’re on a life raft.
