LOVE-LION
"What are we doing?"
"Huh?"
"I mean, what is this that we have?"
"Umm..."
"Oh, come on. I know that you're not too good with your words, but we need to talk about this."
"Well, we're dating, aren't we?"
"I believe so."
"What's left to discuss then?"
"Well, I mean..."
"What is it?"
"Do you love me?"
"If I said no, I'd be the king of the jungle."
"Huh?"
"I'd be a lion."
LOVE-LION
People hate each other
without acknowledgement;
an inward malady as well..
Sometimes we feel good,
but then we see someone ‘better’
Or something we don’t have.
What if there was a creature so mighty
that it could banish this evil
with a single roar?
the Love Lion
Rumi recounted an Arab king
who ruled two mighty empires:
A handsome man and a poet,
women loved him desperately.
A beneficent ruler, his court
reveled in his wisdom.
Nobody could ever match
the splendor of this mighty king.
Yet one day, donning plain robes,
he left his throne to wander.
Picking the grains off of dry bushes
And speaking only through his eyes
he walked, heart brimming.
Though he spoke few words
His gestures, like a windy roar
blew away all that was evil.
This is what love can do.
Love-lion
My mistake was loving him
Loving without knowing him
Not knowing his name
Or knowing he was a Grimm
He seemed so kind
He played it well
Until we got together
And everything just fell
He became a monster
A lion almost
If only I had know
Never would I've tried my utmost
To get his attention
And making mine
Because then I only realized
I was I love with a Lion.
The Continuing Voyages of Love
Love has its roots in devotion, and grows out of all things which nurture it
Love grows around all obstacles which impede it, and prevent its influence
Like the beautiful vestiges of color and texture nature wears in the spring, life is adorned with the love and devotion of truth that is her birthright all year long
Love makes fools of us all, it is a fact that cannot stem the tide of truth
Don't lose sight of that love lost is the end of all faith, and breaking with truth
For the withering of a cherished flower, leaves the seed of its own splendor and renewal again
Love knows no limits, but instead makes its intentions clear
Beauty reigns even through its comely entrapments
Love lost, loves' return, love unconquerable
Love is both a friend, and lover friend, and lover together
Renewed never bitter, ever constant and wise
When seen through the eyes of love
Forgiveness the backbone of the house of love is most blessed of all in the eyes of love, for it makes certain the new day will rise, on the dark curtain that has fallen between the two that were once one
Love finds its seed in its very existence; to spread its glory
Love finds a way to make its intentions recognized
Love acknowledges no distinction between ages,
but embraces the experience shared between the two
Love, its presence enchanting, its essence intoxicating, and its absence madness
We are like soulless shadows without its garments to give us substance
The face of beauty has many different regiments, shapes and forms... But never more beautiful than the face of love
