Adrift in the golden dust of moon’s face,
dazzling sapphire stars surrender thrones,
inscribing a poem of matched hearts.
Seeping through soul, opening light,
fleeting passions breathe in solitude,
wrapped in dreams torn by time.
lavender stars drift across beams,
heartbreak of prosaic dreams,
whispering promises in satin twilight
as truth folds and refolds inward,
marking sassy shadows of yesterday
against banners of light in moonlight.
Hovering dark wine destiny on skin
burnishes muted strings of my heart, as
I gather emblazoned stars in my hands.
