“Poor Q”
I have always felt sorry for the letter Q.
Why?
Because none of the conventional rules apply.
It can never stand alone in any word without the letter U next to it, as if it is incompetent of holding it’s own position.
It does not matter where it is placed. Whether it is silent or heard, the letter U is forever the annoying guardian.
The letter Q may as well be wearing an ankle braclet or on parole with the letter U as it’s permanent parole officer.
I have always felt this way as long as I can remember.
That is why Q is my favorite letter. I respect the fact that it does it’s job regardless of being treated unfairly compared to any other letters.

Variable
The enigmatic, pragmatic letter.
Sparingly used, rarely needed in literature.
Torturing children in algebra classes worldwide.
Misunderstood and majestic,
I often cursed it to die when doing homework,
But now can't fathom not using it,
Naming my children after it,
Showing it the appreciation English doesn't
Unless we're talking about pirates of course.
The letter F
My favorite letter of the cursive alphabet is the letter F. I love the flow of the letter when you write it. I love the aesthetics of the letter. It reminds me of water. How the water flows with no regards to anything, the cursive letter f is the same way. I love the loop de loop and its similarity to a rollercoaster. The cursive letter f is my favorite letter.
