Fucking idiot. I wait six days to hear from him and all he has for me is a status check? Its not like there is a limit to the amount of data anymore. Our only limit is time. The Admiral could have sent me more intel about these creepy little backstabbers I'm forced to live with until a deal is made between Earth and them.

Horrific Miscalculation
The time machine was supposed to take me to Ancient Rome, but I have no idea where I am now. Somewhere really...leafy? I can't exactly come up with good description words right now. I'm kind of freaking out. Was that a twig snapping behind me? Because that's what it sounded like.
I try to call out a tentative "Who's there?" but whatever's behind me isn't moving anymore. It must be my imagination. I just need to calm down. Everything's going to be fine, everything's going to be fine. Just... Just close my eyes and count to ten. Yeah. That'll work.
