Suicidal from Birth

I was born into this world,

With an umbilical cord

Wrapped around my tiny neck.

So it's no surprise when I tried

To hang myself on the bedroom blinds,

Or when I tried to suffocate myself

With a plastic bag.

I was born suicidal.
