What precious stone(s) would you say would hold magic if any gems could? Why that(/those) jewel(s)? Personally, I think that opal or moonstone would be the perfect jewel to hold magic.

I think that the stone I would pick would be the emerald. The green has just the right color and when you look at it just right it looks like green mist.
