Under the Hood
There's nothing here,
you've used it all
Nothing but an empty hall
Echoes and cobwebs remain
Along with residue of pain
If you were walking
down this hall
All you'd hear is your
own foot fall
Silence heavier than sand
Suffocation, no dry land
The doors all lead to empty space
What used to be has been
laid waste
Beauty long since turned decay
No sunshine whether
night or day
The loneliness just suffocates
Misery just sits and waits
For the next one brave enough
One who thinks he's
really tough
There's nothing to anticipate
No more love, it was all fake
Happy footsteps gone for good
Just a ghost girl
under a hood.
