The Ghost of You

I know nothing about what having a father feels like. So, when this date was coming up I'd be full of sadness and bitterness. Growing up I'd see my friends being held by their dads and I wished I could do that with mine too.

But I've never had a dad.

Only the ghost of a father who has haunted me since the day he left.
