Protect me

"Lacey are you sure you know where we're going. We've been walking in this hallway for 15 minutes now."

"Its this way i promise." She said twirling her dress.

"And why would I lie to royalty especially when they saved me."

"Wait, why did you call me-"

"um-look we're here." She said interrupting me then ran to the middle of a large room.

"Did she just call you royalty?" Selena asked me

"I thought i was the only one who heard it."

We ran in to what seem to be a battle arena.

"Lacey stay right next to me, Selena and I will look around and try to find a trace of the monster."

Lacey nodded and stood next to me, then Selena and I separated to the opposite sides of the arena. the entire time Lacey was giving me a weird look, like she wanted me to say something.

"Why are you staring at me like that. Its creepy."

"Sorry your majesty, but I couldn't help myself to realize that you are in love."

"What are you talking abo-"

"And its with two people. How cute your in a love triangle."

"No I'm not in love. This is a game not real life, so love doesn't last long here. And stop saying your majesty."

Lacey looked confused then said "But why? You are a witch of darkness and your eyes are purple as proof. Only the blood of royalty have purple eyes and can control darkness, so you have to be one of them."

"How did you know i was a witch?" i asked

"Luna! Luna! I think you need to come over and see this!" Selena yelled.

I walked to Selena with Lacey trailing behind me.

"What's wrong? What did you want me to see?"

"Just look inside the cage." Selena pull off a old cloth blanket and inside was the bones of monsters and humans.

"Wow, now this place is officially creepy." I said

"Do you think their players?"

"They might be." Selena answered

From the back of the cage was a new corpse with fresh blood dripping from it face and what used to be its legs.

'Looks like our friend was here recently." I said

From the hallway that led us to the arena, two people were yelling.

"Luna! Selena!"

"We finally found you guys!"

It was Ren and Daniel running faster and faster to us.

Lacey leaned herself to my ear and whispered "So those are you knights in shining armor, how interesting." In the most sinister voice as possible.

"Ren! Daniel! What are you doing here?" Selena asked

"Get away from her!" Daniel warned.

What did he mean by get away.

Ren was able to run faster then yelled "Get away! She's the Leviathan!"

That was when Lacey put her hands on my shoulders. She digged her nails into my skin and was starting to make me bleed, as she dug her nails into my skin, I could feel her nails and fingers growing.

I turned to see Lacey's face changing. Her nose and eyes were slowly disappearing and her mouth growing longer across her face.

"Please, your majesty. Please protect me. I am one of your kind, my princess."

I look back to see Selena backing away getting ready to cast a defense shield and Daniel and Ren running recklessly towards the Lacey and I.

"Please your majesty." She whispered "Please protect me. If you do I will tell you about your destiny and of your brother."
