Beauty & the Beast

She was my beauty,

Thought I was her beast,

Together our hearts in sync would beat,

Once I opened up a bit,

Got on my knees,

On her heels she took off,

To the hills she went

Never to be seen again. 

I was the beast,

Thought she was my beauty,

Looking in the mirror I've realized she looks just like me.
