S i m u l a t e

How do we know that we exist consciously?

Could we all be computer sims,

watching life pass us by

unaware of our lack of control?

Or do we only exist when we feel like we do,

and when we are lost

no one else sees us too

so we walk invisibly through the streets amiss

what causes that empty feeling inside?

unacceptance? hatred? sadness? fear?

walking with tears that have always cried

and never stopped.
