see me
see me
that is all i ask of you
see me in the flowers that grow in the field
the ones my hands continuously yield
as a weapon for when the troll in my heart refuses to move
the troll who protects and the troll who made my heart as cold as ice
and my eyes as blunt as a butter knife
the troll that removes the emotions from the irises of my eyes
who leaks thoughts of self doubt through the fences gaurding my mind
see me
see me in the rain infested soil
the muddy ground that leaves behind the smell i love
the rain that flutters so gracefully like a dove
the soil that will have a part of me
see me
see me even when i am gone
in all i mentioned and all you see
see me and i know then that you loved me
so see
my grave is waiting for me
see me nurture a seed
from the minerals my corpse bleeds
maybe those flowers will have a part of me
they will need me
so see me in the flowers i use to yield
