That noise

What's the difference between a schlemiel and a schlimazel (yiddish..)? A schlemiel walks and stubs his toe. A schlimazel, doesn't stub his toe, but some one will drop something on it.

I am both.

Got up early.

The cellphone on vibrate.

Don't want to wake the baby.

She needs to sleep.

I woke her too many times,

Over something stupid.

I tiptoe to the bathroom,

It's sooo cold.

Flushing is noisy,

So ladle water quietly, from the shower.

I do the other toiletries in the kitchen,

Much safer .

I dress but then stub my toe.

Oh the the pain.

I restrain groaning,

And silently wait for the crying to begin,

The hit made a thud.

Biting my lips, but she's still sleeping,

I stealthily make, drink coffee,

More alert, better chances.

I eat, nothing crunchy.

Then when I'm just about to leave,

Some jerk decides to honk.

Now crying...
