Places in our mind, we didn’t want to know

Inside another’s arms

And the darkness takes over

In the ungodly hour

But this human form is a force

To not go gentle into that good night

To not get lost inside ones mind

To scratch and scream until you become the light

until you fight back

And you’ll be better for it

And the stars will marvel and gaze between the black clouds

At the young warrior screaming against the night

And the woman brave enough to love him

The moon watches over her

And reminds her that that the war-boy will soon become a man

To bear with him

Because the devils won’t take him tonight
