Soft Landings

I am a mess, let's not pretend, it's simply complicated as dates roll up on me like crips and bloods running wild.

Deactivated my Crackbook once again, memories can be evil this time of year.

I have lost so many friends I give, ya know?!

Like ENOIUGH already but everyday brings LIFE and the way LIFE goes, flows, fast and slow, here I AM.

One of my oldest friends had a stroke

(no sympathy please, he is a lost boy and refuses to growup)

and I realized in a blink he would be another star.

I am ready for peace, for quiet, for life to be still and be one with my being.

Today I AM and tomorrow I WILL be as well.

I Love who I AM and that my friends is quite simply ENOUGH.
