A Bard's Song
Come all ye bards near and far, come sing us a song from your pub and/or bar. Tell us a ballad of battles long past, give us a song for all time last. Sing us a tale of monsters dreaded, or sing us of all those wench girls you bedded. Tell us your travels and spread wonder and mystery, and tell us of the greatest party in D&D history.

The Song of a No Hit Wonder

Have ye heard, the tale of the silhouette man?

He schemes underground, he has quite the plan.

He was down on his luck, he had no four leaf clover.

He was tricked by his kingly father’s advisor, and turned into Leftover.

The prince had wanted to be a hero, in Hugh’s worldwide network.

But the one that stole his features was locked away, by the hero known as Mirk.

Leftover still wants to be a hero, but first wants to take down Hugh’s team.

He thinks he can do a better job, so is he truly being mean?

CCC, Hypnorc, Doctor Sic, and Willy are in his ranks.

Their plans are sinister, not minor little pranks.

I want to join too, although there’s not much I can bring.

But when Leftover and his team achieve victory, their tales and praises I will sing.

“So Leftover, what did you think of my debut song?”

Leftover looked at the bard and shook his head.

“Awful, just awful.” Leftover replied. “He’s all yours Willy. After all, I did promise you people that you can turn into worms. Make sure his only audience is buried deep underground with him.”

“No, please, I can write a better one!” The bard screamed as Willy’s touch removed his humanity. No other human ever heard any music from him ever again....
