Dangerous pursuits

Here,

the past glimmers

like a pristine

Oasis, untouched

and holy;

the future--echoes

with the sound

of children laughing;

now, in this raft,

we traverse the

hostile seas with

only our hopes

to guide us to

safety;

All we have is now.
