Challenge
Tell me of a personal principal which you learned from childhood and still carry with you today. This principal has to be one of good intention, which you stand strongly behind. It cannot be something that your parents or anyone told you, but of something you grasped by watching and or being around at a young age. An unspoken rule to you which has always been behind your foundation even to this day now.. Write in any form that appeals to you.
not everyone has my heart.
my best friend in elementary was blind. one day at recess we sat in the grass, traded peanut butter sandwiches, and talked. the sky was blue & the grass was green. he smiled. "what?" i said. "tell me what you see," the words carefully fell from his mouth. after my failed attempt at describing the color blue I stopped completely. "tell me what you see," i tested. "I see hearts. I see the things everyone closes their eyes to avoid. I see unkindness...bitterness. but sometimes a heart is more beautiful than the greenest grass or the bluest sky."
