Gratitude Journal For The Week of 1/29/2024
A Church I follow has an app (Crossroads Anywhere) where we journal together as a community, and one of the things we journal about are things we are thankful for. I wrote these for this week's prompts from the app....

"What are you looking forward to this week?"
- Listening to a little bit more Christmas music, catching up on Advent devotionals, and finishing up Christmas candy before Candlemas, the true last day of the Christmas season :-)
- Another try at being better at diligently seeking God, making more time for my family, and being a better person to be around.
- Building into my hobby of writing by working on some goals that I am currently figuring out.

"What are you grateful for today?"
- Receiving a good annual review and raise at work yesterday.
- Reviving my fantasy flash fiction story by completing another chapter in my writing group.
- Having the day off, even if it is because I have to go to the dentist. I am hoping this new dentist works out better than my last one.

"How did someone help you this week?"
My new dentist is great! And My former dentist was very helpful in sending my old records to me upon request.

Affirmation: "God has great plans for my life."
"Is there anything you would like to thank God for this week?"
Thank You God for fellowship, fun, opportunities to learn, and for Your amazing, neverending patience. Thank You for 14 years of marriage to celebrate with my wife on Sunday as well.
