Fate
Cold steel, sweaty hand, drunken Devil slumbered. Bad luck, jammed up, Devil kept his number. Sent to kill an Angel, slighted object of his rage. Bloodied hammer earned him eighteen years inside a cage. Even from his prison cell, he whispered in her ear. Letters sent, his message meant for her to live in fear. Tormented, she'd rewind that night she'd nearly stole his breath. Lucky Devil never knew he'd narrowly cheated death.
