Set to the backdrop of politic revolution in the United States, Honest is the story of Sophie, a young cancer patient beginning to find her voice as a writer and Amrit, a reluctant Turkish immigrant who suddenly sees all that is at stake in a country he has barely lived in. When Sophie starts publishing articles she has no idea the following that she will attract. She soon finds herself the hesitant leader of a social movement. Along the way her path is crossed with that of Amrit, who has also unwittingly become the revered spokesman for a cause that he is only just beginning to understand.
