Earth
Thank you mother earth for your generous nature
Bountiful harvests and clean water springs
All the juniper green and sweet songs that birds sing
The sun that you orbit gives me something to awake to
And the aroma of your flora makes everything sweeter
The atmosphere is our shield from many dangerous things
So thank you Earth, for protecting and feeding us
For we are but your humble children
You, our ever changing mother
And as we grow old, we shall grow together
Always
I always tried to make you happy,
You are the only thing I wish to hold.
The shining light to guide my way
Until the day you chose to go.
Pain, abandonment and hate,
The only I'd ever known.
My anger and resent were never enough to deserve
A heart as pure as gold.
Every day I live for you.
I am too selfish to move on.
I am not your forever,
But you will eternally be my always.
Dark thoughts
Depression is the suppression of one’s expression.
It’s repression, discretion,
In an attempt to hide the oppression of aggression,
and it’s transgression.
There is no hope,
No way to cope.
It need a blessing,
But all it wants is a rope.
To elope, maybe get a little dope.
But none will fix it,
Not long after it’ll wish to quit,
To split and transmit,
From this life with a knife.
Maybe, just maybe,
If someone understood,
If they helped its crazy,
All would be good.
All could be well,
All should be swell,
And not at all like this hell.
