Write a micro-poem conveying an important opinion or view in as few words as possible.
The criteria is only that a micro-poem is written showing as much meaning as possible from the writer on a specific topic (preferably) labeled at the end of the piece. The idea is to share strong, complex feelings in few sentences. (Not sure how many will see this, but for those who enter, thanks!)

Pharmacy

Locker room of souls

Dulled and compliant

Lock it all away

So no one is bothered

No need for thinking

It's all done for you

Just rest your weary head

And don't you dare complain

Love Voracious

You are the bottomless pit, the insatiable hunger, the love that does not love, but yearns.

You grasp and howl and dig into my heart, searching always for more.

I bleed for you, but it's not enough.

I die for you, and you shake my carcass, leaving my empty shell behind.

I blow in a gentle breeze, while you frantically find another.

Talk someone out of suicide
What would you tell your child, friend, family member, etc if they came to you saying they were suicidal? Some people don't have anyone to turn to so let's give them a place for some hope. One rule: No negativity. Suicide isn't a joke and it's not something to be ashamed of or made fun of.

Stay

If you leave now, you'll never know what happens next. You'll never know that things get better, you get better, and what you think is impossible to overcome will just be a bad memory some day. I know because I stayed. Things get better, I promise. It's worth it. Stay.

Write a horror story in two sentences.
“The 3 types of terror: The Gross-out: the sight of a severed head tumbling down a flight of stairs, it's when the lights go out and something green and slimy splatters against your arm. The Horror: the unnatural, spiders the size of bears, the dead waking up and walking around, it's when the lights go out and something with claws grabs you by the arm. And the last and worse one: Terror, when you come home and notice everything you own had been taken away and replaced by an exact substitute. It's when the lights go out and you feel something behind you, you hear it, you feel its breath against your ear, but when you turn around, there's nothing there...”---Stephen King

Castle

He awoke to pitch black and hot stifling air, which he gasped in his growing panic. Pushing outwards, reaching for anything recognizable, he felt sand crumbling from his movements, and the salty water rushed in choking him to silence once more.

Hiker

Her skin was taught and warm as the last droplet of rain evaporated from her nose, and she lifted her head to the rapidly clearing sky while her body, like heavy rusted metal, struggled to continue the journey.

Yet another "short but sweet" : look around wherever you are and pick out an object. Write something funny about it. entertain yourself in your mundane or strange surroundings. (don't cheat!.. or do. we wouldn't know.) The catch: you only have 15 words to draw your reader in.

Love

True love is just as flawed as every other emotion. So revered and worshipped, and yet no better than hate, joy, sadness, loneliness...is love.

Inside, deep inside. From the protected depths of consciousness the buzzing, swirling calms. Muffled. Silenced.

Ideation

One swift smooth motion sent a chill up her spine. Another made her heart beat faster. Looking in the bathroom mirror she smiled at the reflection of her once pale arms now red with blood. One more cut, from ear to ear, and she glimpsed herself falling to the floor.
