What's it like?
It's like tasting life and then explaining the flavor.
It's reaching out and touching the stars and then writing about the burn on your fingers.
It's heart pounding, kind of like you're alive but more. It makes you want to taste words, play with them, make friends with them just to use them to add flavor to your life. It makes you want to breathe a little deeper in hopes of inhaling secrets that the wind carries.
It's making something ordinary sound like magic, and something yet to be discovered sound so familiar that your mind becomes overwhelmed with feeling.
It's making someone nod, exhale in relief because they got lost in your words and somewhere in there they were found.
It's finding the light in something shattered, and it's finding the darkness in something whole.
It's seeing the reflection of the moonlight on someone's eyes as their face takes shape of pain. It's seeing hope behind closed eyelids, and a smile that's yet to take shape. It's looking at the world as if you're trying to make sense of it, as if everything is new and you want to discover it, diving in head first. It's like living twice, touching the world again and again until you make it perfect.
That's what it's like.
That's what it's like.
