Blissful illusion

Whether we feel on top of the world or melancholy, for some bizarre reason we always tend to believe what we are feeling will last a lifetime. Perhaps that is why I cannot imagine this moment ever ending. Though a great fool I would be to think moments like these come around like the seasons do; this moment you and I are living in is without doubt one in a million. The saddest of the sad is that we may never receive an opportunity to experience another such as it. The ray of sunshine, however, is that if we make the most of every second, the urge to paint a replica should arise not even when hell freezes over. -Angel Rigali
