My eyes were flooding.

And my breath looked so pretty.

And my lungs said to let my breath in.

But my mouth declined.

Daddy Will You?

Daddy, will you teach me how to play chess?

So I can play with you

No, girls are not smart enough to learn to play chess

Oh

Daddy, will you teach me how to play golf?

So I can play with you

No, I would be too embarrassed to be seen with you

Daddy will you go swimming with us?

So I can play with you

No, can't you see I'm exhausted from our jog around the block

A Time Where Music Never Ends

Passion, the Center Of All Things, Always

Take me beyond your dream of fantasy,

bringing to now the elicit moment,

and never ponder desires rising high.

Better still, this very second;

imagine fires raging,

consuming our needs,

rising, soaring …

Wrapping myself inside you,

around you,

never wanting precious seconds wasted.

Feeling no limits to your soul flying,

your voice gasping, crying out,

demanding, pulling me to you,

where I become you,

you become me,

and we no longer become two people.

Night surrounds the depth of touch,

of the kiss.

Knowing this can last beyond nights to follow,

unencumbered by rules;

we never end.

I love lists. I write them all the time, for everything. Grocery, chores, "to-do", travel plans, daydreams, holiday, story ideas, "table of contents", and the list goes on and on. I sometimes find lists tucked away that remind me of certain times in my life...and it's crazy how provoking in both thought and emotion that can be. It's just a list. This challenge is also just a list. That's the only requirement. It must be an obvious list, even if it is not a standard list. I'll pick the one that I think is the most creative, the most meaningful, the most hilarious, or the most something... But as always, I'll use my fellow writers' opinions to dissuade bias (though bias is completely allowed in these situations, ha)...and I'll choose from the top 5 most 'liked' entries. No mass tagging. Liking other entrants and commenting is encouraged...cause that's fun. 25 entrants max and it's done. 10 minimum. What's your list!?

Top 10 Terrible Time Wasters

10) Tapping your finger on the table... what does it accomplish, I don't know you tell me! But it is sure fun to do anyway to annoy those around you

9) Not watching Stranger Things... If you don't watch Stranger Things then I'm so sorry, but that is wasting time, Stranger Things time

8) Listening to Justin Beiber... You already know why he is on the list

7) Smashing a hole in the wall, like Andy Brenard from 'The Office'... If you get that refrence then you are amazing, anyway just like Andy you could be put in Anger Management

6) Clicking on Pop up ads... They are ads who pop up just don't

5) Trying to become immune to pain... It doesn't work... It most likely will hurt... Just what level of low is this on? The lowest level

4) When you are a kid and wanna learn how to write messy like your parents signature... And everything 1-4 grade taught you is gone in 5 minutes tops

3) Promising yourself stuff you will never do... Procrastination is the best thing ever but this just amps your hopes and dreams until one day you know they died... or never lived in the first place
