Rebirth: De L’or au Gris
He sat at the kitchen table waiting to dig in. His Mom placed a bowl of steaming noodles in front of him. She smiled, & then got startled for a second she thought her son’s eyes changed colour from gold to grey.
She blinked her eyes and was about to move closer to inspect his eyes when she heard a knock at the door. There was a soft THUD and this made her run to check what it was.
A young man with a green hood bowed and then told her he had a package for her. She looked down and saw her package.
She thanked the man for the delivery & he hopped onto a broom. And went zipping off to another cottage.
Her son came rushing to her side to find out what his Mom got in the mail. She placed the package by the door and went back into the kitchen.
She hummed as she carried on with her day. The lad started at the package and felt something come over him.
He picked up the parcel and checked to see if his Mom was looking. She was heading outside through the kitchen door to grab some herbs from the garden.
This was his chance. He rushed off and took the package to his room. Once it was there, he carefully unwrapped it and all he could do was gasp at what he saw inside. In the parcel, a book had been placed and it had some symbols on it that the lad didn’t recognize. But the one being who was now sharing the same body with him did.
She cleared her throat. The lad was startled and wondered if the sound had come from the book. She laughed at him and said, ‘‘Listen up kid. I don’t think I can explain this to you quick. But I’ll give you a short version. I am now a part of you, and I need your help.’’
The lad heard her and also felt her presence in his mind. He wondered how long she had been there.
The old lady moved his hands, ‘‘Could you hold the book still? I’ll take care of the rest.’’ He did exactly what she asked.
She read the symbols & the book started to burn his hands. He wanted to let go, but she had control of his hands.
He asked her how long it was going to take. She concentrated on reading until the book stopped burning & the front cover moved on its own. A number of pages turned on their own, too. The lad watched in awe. The pages stopped turning and he stared at the page.
‘‘Is that you?’’ He asked.
She smiled & said, ‘‘yes.’’
It was her all right. She stared at the image and moved her fingers on the page. Ah, it had been ages since she had her hands on her book.
She would have to hand the delivery guy a bonus for sending it to her in a great condition. The only thing that she wanted now was to find another body. She didn’t like having to be a young kid.
A sorceress needed to have more freedom to go wherever she wanted, & not have to worry about being grounded by her, eh- his, Mom. She sighed and hoped she would be able to find a new host soon.

For Him Alone
He could scarcely bear
touching and stroking
her lush vanilla skin,
afraid for their love
to ever end.
He laid her down,
drawing her honeyed
breasts into his mouth,
savoring the sensual taste.
He gulped her aroma,
that of cherries and lavender,
and breathed her in
as he traced his tongue
down her moist body
to her throbbing center
which tasted of
freshly mown grass –
a delicacy for his senses.
Caressing her hips
he drew her to his
spooned masculinity
stirring her to
a cauldron of hotness
and smoldering wetness
until their cream and sugar
melded together in
a melting pot
of climaxing lust.
He knew he could never
leave her, wanting
to encompass her
forever where she
would be at his
beck and call,
encased where
she could never escape.
He punctured her soft
chocolatey neck with
his teeth, spurting blood
running in crimson streams
of fruited beauty
down his body,
leaving a white outline
where she was lying,
silent contours,
for eternity.
He bathed her
frozen body with
crushed strawberries
and arranged her
as a fragrant feast
on a tableau
of silk rose petals
where he could
partake of her beauty
with not only his eyes
but his body,
leaving her purity
with deep wounds
that would never
CLOSE,
REMAINING OPEN
FOR HIM ALONE.
Autumn’s Love
November in my
California valley
Slanted rays of the sun
coming in
through Autumn’s robe
at midday
refracted and diffused
into bands of warm
earth colors
Golden rays
piercing the crisp air
hanging between me
and distant trees
A misty haze descends
lightly,
uninvited
she mingles with
and befriends
the rays
of refracted particles becoming
a phantom’s veil
Floating across
the white picket
fence row’s
stoic sentries
daring me to
approach and scale
their pointed
weathered wooden heads
To gain entrance
into that landscape of
jack o’ pumpkin colors,
the reds and browns
of fallen leaves
carpeting the orchard floor
The elms remain
green still
in my sight’s foreground
I will walk by them and greet
their leaves
before gravity claims
their fluttering falls
gentlest wisps
spirit breeze’s breath
her chiffon tongue
birthing soft
convection currents
brushing elm’s leaves
sensuously
as they tremble afraid
of extinction,
striving to speak
as i walk by,
expecting salvation
from certain death
who am i
involved in such matters?
no horticultural skill
can save them
“mere human i am,
helpless
to save even myself
from the same outcome,”
I mutter to them as i walk past,
approach the fence
without a stile
i straddle
a sentry pokes my crotch
i exhale air
holding my breath
with a muffled groan
delightfully entranced,
far from the grinning pickets
i trod forward
magnetically drawn
to Autumn’s soft breast
the inner folds of
her sun lit robe
I don't know who I am
All I am is me
I've lived longer than a thousand years
But I only remember what I see.
I can't remember my first life
I only know what I've read
According to my diaries
Everyone I love is dead.
But there are gaps in my diaries too
Holes that want to make me shout
Some memories were so unbearable
That I just ripped them out.
Forever My Love
I watched her eyes dance with pure excitement as I lowered my head daringly, challenging her, provoking. She bit her soft lips seductively and I lost it then, she's so beautiful; my woman. Time stood still as our body collided into a beautiful frenzy filled with sounds of pure pleasure. It was these moments that I treasured the most and before I knew what was happening a tear escaped entering the forbidden kingdom.
"Honey what's wrong?" She said still clinging to my beck like her life depended on it. Funny thing is, my life truly did depend on this amazing vixen that is mine as I don't know what I'd do without her. The words choruses from my mouth before I could stop them, "I'll forever love you, I love you with my everything" and I buried my face in her hair awaiting her reply. She didn't say anything but lift my head slowly caressing my cheek a few tear strolling down her own cheeks. She looked me long and hard in the eye then kissed me with a burning passion.
The kissed ignite a fire in me and I knew then and there she was saying she'll always be here for men she loves me for my imperfections, admires me for my determination and motivated my every action. How'd I get so lucky? She'll forever be my love.
Monster
In a humid and darkened room
There sits a girl, alone in gloom
Dark circles cover her eyes
She is so tired of all their lies
But they do not know she wears a mask
No one's ever bothered to ask
At first glance she seems quite happy and content
But deep down she is anything but resplendent
A crumbling mess
Worst than all rest
Such horrors you can find
Within her broken mind
Her body barely intact
It's all just an act
So you see
She's really no one to envy
All she does is try to hide
The monster that lurks inside
The Weight of No
No:
Weighs more than Yes by 9 picograms
Stings louder than wasp venom
Clouds judgment by days
Cuts deeper than a marine mile
Drowns in only an inch of water
Cries before the birds at first light
Sings into a heart in one wave
Buys respect with one-tenth of one penny
Dissolves a memory at pH 7.0
Tastes like two pastels in winter
Lights up a city in one photon
Swims up the Thames in half a stroke
Breaks a camel's back with one thread
Depresses joy at 0.3 rpm
Scribbles a story in a glyph.
No Way Out.
Fists felt heart deep,
Bruises to cover, afraid to sleep.
Blows cut like knives,
She feared for her life.
"It won't happen again, I love you" He said
As he held in his arms at night in bed.
He promised her once, a hundred times more,
It wasn't a relationship but a war.
Battle after battle, she never once won,
His abuse more powerful than a lethal gun.
Days to months, months to years,
Everyday there were more tears, more fear,
Until the day she chose to return to the earth
It breaks my heart she couldn't see her worth.
