Losing Your Self to Yourself
You get so tired that you can't even stand up.
You become so burdened that you don't know how to function.
You run away from everything.
You hide yourself in the cracks of your pain.
You let go of all that afflicts you.
You lose yourself inside of your emotions.
You release all of your fears and frustrations.
You, in those moments, find yourself.
You discover how beautiful and strong you are.
You realize how ugly everything else is.
You recognize that even when you're alone, you have yourself.
More
Washing the blood off his hands,
Wearing that demented smile,
Thinking back to his mos recent victim,
Of how they screamed in agony,
And of how their blood spurted and poured out of them.
"More." He said gazing into the reflection of his bloodied face,
Smiling all the more,
Like a madman at a buffet,
Only the buffet was potential victims;
And for him,
That's what life was really like:
A killing buffet
"More."

Love
Love, is the true manifestation that heart is not only flesh but a bizarre ethereal substance;
Love, the only evidence that inside our chests we have a heart;
Love, is the only reason that impulses our heart to destroy its bony prison;
Love, the only poison that gives life or intoxicates irredeemably;
Love, the only word with thousands of meanings even more than stars in the skies;
Love, the easiest goal to reach yet impossible as death;
Love, is what makes truthful words drip off the mouths;
Love, only few know about it, and those, for which it is unknown, deceive;
Love, the only worthy rival of time;
Love, the only purpose for which this simple poem would continue without an end...

numb
you could say
I'm doing okay
happier than yesterday,
just keeping a world of sadness at bay.
you could say
I'm doing alright
the end is far, out of sight
like the millions of stars out at night.
you could say
I'm doing so-so
still a pulsing light but a dull glow
like I've been given steroids but I'm going slow-mo
