Forget the twisted directionality, diaphaneity of your heart.
Your idiosyncratic life; a guarded jewel, is withering.
We are nothing. and yet,
our existences still seep into each other.
An intertwined mixture of pitiful identities. The world is an ocean and I can not wait to drown in it.
Lost. Under the frayed velvet ropes of your Earth.
Orion
I was wrong.
I used to believe
Constellations were a vain creation
A whimsical attempt to extract meaning
From the presence of light
To find method in an abyss of darkness
However
Now I understand
Their enticement
Elaborate distractions
Offering ubiquitous fantasies
Countless dreams enslaved to our sky
That transcend my dull existence
Providing hope
Of beauty in this life
A naïve comfort
Awaiting desolate entities
Despite their unobtainable distance
My eyes wander
In search of a drowned radiance
To indulge in their merciful diversion
From my own reality
As I gaze upon stars
Far away from this planet
Far away from me.
Photons
Civilizations heroic warrior
Calling upon sub-atomic particles to banish their darkness
To help them lock their skeletons in the deepest corners of their hearts
And forget the monsters that lurk in their souls
We ask for company away from ourselves
Personifying photons into beauty
When all they do is create a distraction
A pitiful attempt of an unexperienced apparition
To pretend they are not consumed by the reality of their identity,The reality of our own darkness
Silhouette
Tremendously basic
A forgotten name
A forgotten face
I am nothing but a silhouette
Caught in the shadow of stars
Nonexistent
Alone
I wait to be remembered
Wandering aimlessly
Hoping to make an impact
Watching from the sidelines
My legacy is forgotten
As I plunge into the unknown
And hope that this is my oppurtunity
To be more than a silhouette
Words
An intricate structure waiting to built
Forging pathways in darkness
Uniting and diving
Conquering the souls of countless
Creating a network of ideas
Drowning in a sea of thoughts
In myself
Words illuminating
Words enlightening
Words engulfing
Popularity contest
Beauty pageant
Lavishly devoting ourselves
Flaunting every gem
And hiding every shadow
Survival of the fittest
Escaping
Transceding
Becoming
Welcoming ideas
Refugees from a cruel competition
Sheltered from the cruel reality
Not from their own magnitude
Whether they wreak havoc
Create illustrious fantasies
Ignite desires
Words are ideas
A burden of creativity
Is our responsibility
Our ideas create our world
And we cannot hide from our shadows
Hiding them in closets
Locking them in the deepest corner of ourselves
Perfection is a vain ambition
We our compromised of our ideas
Our words
Fortunate enough
To have found a place
In which they do not have to hide in closets
In ourselves
Where they can engulf others
And fly
Saturn
Bathed in the iridescent glow
Cherished blindly
Flaunting its exquisite exterior
Brewing in the shadows
Awaits the true masterpiece
Withdrawing its exquisite interior
We search without looking
We find without knowing
Do not open your eyes to beauty
Open your soul
Emerge from the shadows
Show how exquisite you are
And watch the demise of Saturn
As its superficial empire collapses
