When Light Met Dark
He was the dark, as it usually goes.
She was the light, but not her own.
He begged for her body, but not her heart.
She longed to be his, his tasteless art.
He smoked in his free time, and slept on the clock.
She dreamed of his lips, and yearned for the shock.
He wasted his life, and to no avail.
She lived it for him, and to her he assailed.
Alone in the dark, she searched for a sign,
That he would be hers, until the end of time.
But when light met dark, the world submersed,
Those who were best, at being the worst.
Existing
Waking up in a room
That feels like
A tomb
Questioning
Whether or not
Nietzsche
Was right
About God being
Dead
In a bed
Next to
The woman
You love
Whom you have chosen
Again
& again
Asleep
Dreaming
Her own dream
In the stillness
Of a new day
In a body that moves the way
The sky breathes
Remembering
Our lives
Before we had
Names
Spit, Spin & Grin
Take me down to the inferno
slip in the needle and dilute
my venom veins ...
My crawl is silent
my bite is soft ...
I weave my web with
innocent souls.
I'll dig you up from dirt
I'll drag you down from clouds
I'll spit, spin and grin ...
while I watch my love fester,
your exposed skin will rot.
Gaping wounds will grow
maggots will feed and find
comfort ...
I'm not insane
I'm toxic ...
(grin)
