Challenge
Tell me what you believe in. Use as many words as you'd like.
Athiest? Not Quite.
They ask me sometimes:
"If you don't believe in God, then what do you believe in?"
As if the universe is so simple, that we should all have the same religion.
But, I'll tell you what I believe in.
I believe in miracles.
I believe in kindness, hope, desperation,
The potential that humanity has,
To be more than our mistakes.
I believe in infinite perspectives, beliefs, ridiculous circumstances.
I believe in exploding, imploding stars,
Entropy,
Creation,
The seemingly endless waltz.
I believe in warmth and beauty,
Laughter, passion,
Struggling, conquering, flailing,
Sobbing.
I believe in cool water on a hot day,
I believe in...
I believe in everything.
Multiple truths, shifting realities,
Love's fingers on my skin...
I believe in possibility.
