When the Dead are Buried Alive
When the dead are buried alive,
The sun is up at night.
When the dead are buried alive,
Apple trees start growing mango leaves.
Then rainy days will snow even harder
With the moon and it's blazing heat
And the stars showing in broad daylight
While the barks of cats can be heard
During midnight at noon.
When the dead are buried alive,
Flowers will fall from the sky
And dead leaves will grow on trees.
People wouldn't care if fresh water was everywhere
And fish would swim on land.
When the dead are buried alive,
A pastor would preach about anything but God
And religion wouldn't start a war.
When a sunny day is full of rain,
And people start dying of a disease called shame,
The crowds would start shouting quietly
While they clap silently and cheer without noise.
When the dead are buried alive,
I will meet you at the dawn of night
And tell you,
I don't love you
And kill you with a knife
The Voice Inside
The voice inside
Is something that won’t be heard
It’s reserved for those who understand
The aesthetic meaning
Of the voice that speaks from within
Even though the voice is heard,
No one really understands
The meaning it’s trying to portray
Because people just hear it
Without actually thinking about it
Which is why it’s a silent beast
That only comes out when needed
A creature that charges reality
With words that kill and sting like a deadly bee.
Looking Back
Looking back,
I was never the same.
I used to tiptoe all around
And pretend to have several names
Looking back,
I wanted to be a doctor,
But now that changed,
I want to be a writer
Looking back,
I saw the world as a fairy tale.
My house would be the castle
And of course I, the princess
Looking back,
I thought adults had it easy,
But now I wish to never grow up
And pretend to be happy
Looking back,
I am still the same.
I run around the house
Like someone you can't tame.
Looking back,
I still have more years,
Before I head out
And begin my career
Looking back,
I never really changed.
I'm still happy
And I understand more things.
Looking back,
I don't wish to change.
I love the way I am
And I am still the same.
