Remember
Under the starlit sky,
Above the field of rye,
Amongst the clouds we lie,
Remember, you and I.
Upon the softened sigh,
Within your wink so shy.
Until our sweet goodbye,
Remember, you and I.
When we lose eye to eye,
We grieve with tears so dry,
We battle as to why,
Remember, you and I.
Under the murky sky,
About the field you spy,
Behind my heart you lie,
Remember: it’s you not I.
