Chapter -I: Soundharyamukhi
Long ago when the land was ruled by Kings, Dukes and Ranas there was a strong and wealthy kingdom named Chamakpur and which was ruled by Shasak Thejkumar.
The people of Chamakpur were very happy and loved their leader.
Thejkumar had a beautiful wife named Rani Pruthvi.
The people felt their queen to be the only valuable thing under a crown.
The happy kingdom became happier when the queen gave birth to a pretty girl.
They named her, Rajkumari Soundharyamukhi.
The public felt Rajkumari Soundharyamukhi the only valuable living thing.
She was delicate, beautiful and kind-hearted.
She loved her mother very much but soon lost her.
Once she had a wonderful dream in which she met a handsome man.
She was curious to know about him. Her curiosity grew as she grew up.
This developed an interest in her to meet him.
She searched for him in and around the kingdom.
Once she went to Agnipur for a function.
She was surprised to see the man of her dreams.
He was none other than Agni the prince of Agnipur.
She was very happy to see the man, whom she wanted to meet for days. This made her feel delighted.
The prince was a pleasant, gentle and charming person. Soon they became friends. This new freindship raised a new feel in the princess.
Chapter- II: Agni
Agni was a good man. He had loving parent, but they were under the black magic of a bad witch Oodha, who had gained all the powers through her black magic.
She now wished to gain political and economic power by marrying Agni, she had many times tried to acquire him by her beauty and blackmagic, but some invisible power stopped her. As she could not get him she hipnotised his parent. So they fixed his marriage with her against his wish. But one day he saw a girl practicing silambam, he had never seen such a great martial artist, he was unable see her face due to her uniform. Next day he went by time to have a friendly battle with her. He invited her and she accepted his request, they had a long fight with both proving to be better than the other. As they were out of time they planned to continue the fight the next day. This continued but they were equally talented. This continuous meeting increased Agni’s interest to see her face. But the girl, who was actually the princess Soundharyamukhi remained silent in the palace and a fierce fighter in the field, which now has become their secret meeting point.
Chapter-III:The Hidden Face
Agni's eager went on increasing day by day. It seemed he has fallen for the mysterious fighter.
He once asked her, "please show me your beautiful face, so I can be alive".
The princess smiled to herself but was not ready to reveal the truth, she promised to do show soon.
All these days Oodha had been watching them, now she is aware of the danger awaiting. She went to his parents and asked them to commence their marriage as soon as possible, she also tried to hurt the princess, but her magic was reflected by an unknown force. Now Oodha was unable to think anything else than the princess, she even sent some people to kill her, but the princess killed them using her art.
Chapter-IV: The Curse on Oodha
Oodha after her failed attempts planed to remain silent, while Agni told about his dilemma to the princess twice unknowing her real identity. Meanwhile Oodha learnt that her curse is causing her life and either she should marry and drink her husband's blood or steal the beauty of the the most beautiful girl within a week, if she didn't she will die. She was now 400 years old but her appearance was 19. She found her magical powers decreasing. She went to the lake of Dayans and found the princess to be the girl. She also learnt that she can not harm her, but steal her youth. Oodha mixed a magical powder in her drink which turned the princess into an ugly elder woman. Due to this she ran from the palace. The girls working in the princess's room saw this and informed Agni. Horrified Agni checked her things to find where she would go. He didn't get any clue but saw her uniform and weapons. The site tore his heart, he started crying for his dear girl. He sent his men to search all over the kingdom for any new different elder woman, they weren't able to find her. From that day he went to the practice yard and stayed there mourning for her.
Chapter-V:The wandering woman
Far from the main land, beyond the dark dense woods, was a desert and a market.
There was an old lady who was selling some birds. She had lovebirds, cuckoos, nightingales and many sparrows.
She had some other wonderful creatures too. They helped her by this business as they loved her. The woman earned using these and also fed the caged creatures.
She loved to take care of them and smiled happily while spending her time with them. She was also very artistic but was unable to show it due to weakness. She lived in a very small tatched hut. She had very few things and was happy with those.
But, every night she sobbed bitterly. She thought she was a great sinner, to live such a life. As days passed, there came the day of witches. Suddenly queen Pruthvi appeared in her dream. She told her about the eternal lake and her lost sister.
Queen Pruthvi had a sister, who was lost in their youth. She was a very charming, talented and young girl. She once went to the dark woods but never returned, even her belongings with her were not found. Her beautiful white mare disappeared with her. The queen said the lake was the only way to change all. The woman accepted.
The queen also gave her the duty of finding her cursed daughter. The woman happily accepted the duty given to her. The queen told her she was the only living thing who had the power to do this.
Chapter-VI: Search for the lake
The woman along with her birds started their journey to find the eternal lake. The birds were intelligent and helped her to find it every now and then by watching distant places. She roamed for days, went to different cities and villages and tried to learn about the place. She sold some creatures and other creatures helped her by finding the route to in dense forests. They even helped her by feeding her with the fruits in the forest. She suddenly met an old man by a large banyan tree. He seemed unconscious due to hunger and thirst. It looked as if he didn't had any proper food for years. He was week and feeble, but resembled to be wealthy. She helped him by giving some fruits and water.
Chapter-VII: The story of the old man
As the old man recovered he enquired the woman about her and then told his story. He was a prince and was in search of his wife and and her best friends who were pulled by some demon roots in the dark woods. Many thought they were dead, but he had a little belief of their existence. Then one-day a Shaman told him to go to the eternal lake which fulfills all wishes and removes any curse on us. It can help in solving any life problems. They planned to go ahead together as their search was the same. They were unaware of the danger and also a good companion ahead who were also in the same journey. Soon they were going to meet Agni and Oodha who were in the same way for the princess. What will Oodha do to this elderly people? Is she aware of the old woman's duty. Can she stop them. Are they all in life danger. Let's see in the next chapter.
Chapter-VIII: Journey of Agni
Once, when Agni was mourning for his love, he saw a beautiful golden swan. He was surprised to see such a beautiful creature, he never knew, if even such things existed. He went to the pond and the swan smiled at him. He was awestruck at such a creature smiling at him. He asked the swan,"who are you?". The swan replied,"I am the angel of love, I saw your true love and sorrow, I came here to help you". Agni was shocked to hear these words, he asked,"how can I believe you? our family is already in a confusion, there's something wrong around us". The swan again smiled and said," I know that my child, and that's why I am here". Agni was in a confusion, whether he should believe in such a creature or avoid it. He then remembered of a charm given by a shaman, before the arrival of Oodha using which he came to know her evil intentions. He wore his enchanted bracelet, which he always used when confused. He realized the swan was indeed true. It told him to go across the river in the north and cross 5 of the snow filled peaks, then he would find his real parent who would help him in his rest of the journey. Agni was shocked to here this. How could this happen? he now understood the reason behind their continuous attempts to finish the wedding soon. They had adopted their grandson after losing the prince and the princess. The swan advised him to never give them or anyone else his or their real identity, it could end both their lives.
Chapter-IX: Prince gone
The next day the people were all busy with rumors and talking about Agni riding away his horse the previous night. They were all shocked to know their prince's sudden ride when he was about to be married. No one saw him after the night. They were all worried for him, but this caused a different worry in the minds of Oodha. She was afraid of the possibility of the princess returning. She too didn't know that the king and queen were Agni's grandparent. She was making a ritual to learn about him.
