I don't think anyone can really stop themselves from loving. They can only hide how and for whom they feel it.
Why allow yourself a day off?
Why let yourself smell a flower?
Why bother getting out of bed?
Why love when it might go sour?
To live is not merely to exist,
To love is to risk strife.

You can never stop yourself falling in love. If it is for something, go for it until you achieve it. If it is for someone, stay connected, let him/her know you, the real you, and then if he/she want to be with you, don’t make him/her wait.
