maybe I am a god.

and yet they carry on!

oh, they make fun,

critisize my spelling!

spelling?! who cares about that,

when the content of what I tweet,

is so uplifting?!

how could you possibly focus,

on things, like the size of my hands?!

or my hair?

or my golf?

what I’m talking about?

I do know! can't you read my tweets?!

they look at the little things,

to put me down,

out of jelousy, that’s right.

if you look , on a superficial level,

you see faults, sure.

there are no smooth surfaces

russian spies?

funding issues?

these are just small stuff.

can’t they see I’ve done so much?

no one has done so much for them!

no one since Hoover,

who rescued us from the depression,

by building a dam.

no one since Ike ,

who brought us victory in the great war!

maybe that’s what I need,

The path of least resistance is the easiest for all.

But orders handed down can go awry.

Those bosses, oh, so human, aren't always so well informed.

It's then we underlings can't shy away.

I followed what was bidden though I hadn't seen it through.

The days and weeks thereafter caused a stir.

by sticking up for Freedom of the Speech.

I fought the metaphoric fight worth putting to the test.

The Constitution is a welcome friend.

By advocating bravely, the decision was reversed.

The view of jurisprudence took my side.

A page was reinstated in a book for all to read.

The library was happy once again.

Now I will never be ignored again.
