I’m Proud of this thing
About a year ago my grandmas house got hit by a tree. It smashed the bathroom. No one was hurt. It hit the water heater and a bunch of other important stuff.
I was the only one who realized we needed to bring the dog with us when we all went outside to wait for the fire department (we smelled gas)
im still very proud of it.
Paper Ship Models
The picture above depicts the last in a series of paper ship models I created (this was actually with the help of my sister) this month of August. Her name is Maria Teresa.
As one of my things to do in summer, I created these as per my uncle’s suggestion. I have created two galleons, an afloat lab, a tugboat, a cargo ship, and the one in the picture: a destroyer. Another thing, all of those ships are based on real ships, but I renamed them so that all of their names began with Maria.
Oh, Maria Juana, Maria Dolores, Maria Emerita, Maria Erika, Maria Christina, and Maria Teresa, how many hours I took in making all of you? Well, at least they’re all done, and they’re great toys to play with. (Not recommended to place on water, though.)
They say you are so strong.
When I meet someone, a stranger, or a co-worker, and I begin to talk about my life, it never fails that someone will say "You are the strongest person I ever met." To me, I don't feel the strongest sometimes. Just because you live life the best you can, no matter how many losses you have, or Traumas. I can say that there was a Survivor's group regarding loosing someone you love to Suicide, that I started and was the facilitator for 15+ years. Both of my brothers took their own lives at different times in my life. I didn't know what to do with all the trauma, So I started a support group.
