Best advice I ever got was 'Learn to Listen'.

Everybody hears stuff, but too few people listen. You know, really listen.

Listen to what is being said, and hear the intonations, watch for body language. It's so easy to just hear.

Never stop reading...books...magazines... brochures...pamphlets...people... signs...gestures....ad libs...everything... Never stop reading!!!
