"15 and pregnant!? Oh well you will never amount

To anything!!" Those words resonate within me even to this day. "What shame you have brought on us!"

"Any dreams you had about your life before, you ruined them."

All these things were said to me at the tender age

Of only 15yrs old. Raised in a strict Christian community, I lost all but a couple of my friends.

And going to a private Christian school, of course I had to drop out.

They were wrong!

In 1989 I was beat severely to the point that now I have epilepsy. A minor nuisance for me!

I went on in life to raise 4 wonderful sons and a fantastic stepdaughter! My youngest son has Autism, Asperger's but he has beaten the odds and is a wonderful caring man.

I put my life on hold for a little while, I took time to play, climb trees, help with homework, take field trips, and learn right along with my children.

NEVER LET OTHER PEOPLE PUT YOU IN A BOX! CHILDREN ARE NEVER A MISTAKE!

CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS A PRECIOUS WONDERFUL GIFT!

So, shame?

They are the most kind and decent young adults you could ever meet.

No Shame here!

Now that they are grown, I can go on to do my own thing now. And so I am.

So you see darlings, never let others decide your future for you!
